Girls Who Code is seeking a strategic and collaborative Manager, Programs Marketer to drive awareness, engagement, and growth for our programs and a new tech learning platform. This role will play a critical part in helping create compelling marketing materials and campaigns to support student and facilitator recruitment across our programs.
Working closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing and Programs, this role will develop and execute integrated campaigns that amplify key programs, strengthen brand visibility, and build a vibrant digital community that supports the next generation of women, girls, and nonbinary individuals in technology.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of growth marketing expertise, community engagement strategy, and strong collaboration skills, with a passion for using technology and storytelling to expand access and opportunity in tech. This role will be a member of the Marketing and Communications team and report to the Senior Director, Marketing.
Responsibilities include:
Serve as a key connector between the Programs and Marketing teams, ensuring programs and related events are amplified effectively and cohesively across all touchpoints
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote program events, initiatives, and key milestones across digital and social channels
Partner with the Programs team to create recruitment materials and strategies to recruit facilitators and students for in-person and online programs
Design and implement marketing strategies to drive signups for our learning platform, including awareness, acquisition, and engagement
Design and execute student engagement and retention strategies for our learning platform through targeted in-platform marketing activities
Build and optimize marketing plans to drive qualified traffic to our learning platform, converting visitors into active members through targeted messaging and calls-to-action
Create integrated, multi-platform marketing materials that reflect the voice and mission of the organization while meeting the distinct needs of each program’s audience
Outreach to our student and alumni community to facilitate content submissions for marketing content
Provide strategic support on ad creative, targeting, and messaging to drive traffic to our learning and amplify programs initiatives — maximizing both click-through and conversion rates
Track and analyze campaign performance metrics across channels, using data insights to continuously refine strategies and improve member acquisition and retention
Qualifications:
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to translate program goals into effective marketing strategies and campaigns
Strong project management skills to lead multiple projects with numerous stakeholders
Familiarity with online learning audiences and communities, with an understanding of what drives engagement, participation, and long-term membership
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing campaigns, using performance metrics and audience insights to guide strategy
Experience creating integrated digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, web, and community platformsStrong storytelling and content development skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging, accessible messaging
Experience supporting community-building initiatives such as online forums, digital learning communities, events, or member engagement programsComfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
Passion for advancing equity and opportunity in technology for girls, women, and nonbinary individuals
