What are important things that YOU need to know about this role?

•    Can work remotely or be based out of our Menomonee Falls, WI location (near Milwaukee).  

What will YOU be doing for us? Manage a team (20) of data/business analysts/specialists and maintain accountability for accuracy and quality of reports submitted to clients.  Ensure processes and procedures are designed in a manner that enhances the quality and timeliness of all reports.

What will YOU be working on every day?  
•    Lead departmental efforts in evaluating patterns within customer requests to determine if additional standard reports are needed.
•    Act as an expert in the area of reporting by providing assistance to those completing Requests for Proposals (RFP’s) and assisting in complex reporting concerns. 
•    Collaborate with director on different strategic initiatives to better align the department for meeting organizational goals and objectives.
•    Lead departmental efforts to develop processes and procedures that minimize the need for custom reports.
•    Manage time with the ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with critical deadlines.
•    Develop methods to ensure appropriate communication and information sharing across various departments affected by client reporting.
•    Develop and maintain processes surrounding entire reporting process to ensure proper controls in place and an efficient and effective operation.
•    Review departmental trends regarding accuracy and put in place processes to improve the quality of reporting for clients.
•    Utilize statistical techniques to analyze various sources of data to develop and maintain key performance metrics, evaluate trends, and to manage staff to appropriate metrics to drive behaviors.
•    Foster an environment of continuous improvement though process and systematic efficiencies.
•    Develop, and motivate staff.  Initiate and communicate a variety of personnel actions including employment, termination, performance reviews, salary reviews, disciplinary actions, and development plans.  Provide regular and behaviorally specific feedback to increase performance levels.
•    Develop and implement appropriate training methods to ensure staff is provided with the appropriate tools to meet client requirements and objectives.
•    Work effectively and collaboratively with peers and other internal resources in diagnosing and resolving issues.
•    Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and implement appropriate solutions to maintain organizational competitiveness.

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?  
•    Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or other related analytical field or equivalent internal experience.
•    5 - 7 years of experience in a prior role that included requirements gathering, testing, or report generation.
•    2 – 4 years of previous management level experience.
•    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
•    Knowledge of relational databases (SQL, Access, etc.), programming and/or data mining management .
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Strong ability to work effectively with clients and set appropriate expectations.
•    Ability to use effective judgment and prior experience to troubleshoot common issues.
•    Ability to quickly learn new technology.
•    Ability to quickly learn new industries and apply learning.
•    Strong in project management.

•    Knowledge of Sigma Business Intelligence

The salary range is listed for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.
