About Engine

Engine is the AI-native platform for intelligent travel. For a decade, Engine has built the proprietary technology and supply behind modern business travel, serving over 40,000 customers and nearly 2 million travelers, along with leading travel and AI companies that build on Engine's infrastructure. One system powers business travel, group travel, human agents, and AI agents.
That work has earned recognition as one of Fast Company's Best Workplaces for Innovators (2025), TravelTech's Reservation Platform of the Year (2026), and one of Built In's Best Places to Work (2020–2026).
We're looking for bold, ambitious people to help redefine how businesses manage and experience travel. Working here, you can expect exponential growth, an ambitious pace, full ownership, and high-caliber colleagues who push you to do the best work of your career. Every hire raises the bar.
Come outpace the ordinary and build the future of travel with us.

Your Mission:

As Manager, Revenue Enablement, you'll lead Engine's team of pod-level Revenue Enablement Managers (REMs), the people who keep our revenue teams sharp long after onboarding ends. Each REM is embedded with a pod across Engine's six business lines. You'll set the standard for how they partner with sales and account leaders, coach them to operate as strategic advisors rather than training request-takers, and make sure ongoing enablement and everboarding drive real performance.

You'll also be hands-on: when a business line needs extra bandwidth, you'll step in to diagnose the gap, build the program, and deliver it yourself. You'll report to the Director of Revenue Enablement and lead a team. New-hire onboarding is owned by a partner team, so your focus is everything that comes after it. Here's what you'll take charge of:

Lead & Develop the REM Team

  • People Leadership: Hire, coach, and develop a team of Revenue Enablement Managers, running regular 1:1s, development plans, and performance reviews that grow REMs into trusted advisors to their business lines.
  • Operating Model: Define how REMs engage with their pods, including which leadership meetings, pipeline reviews, and planning sessions they join, how they take in and prioritize requests, and what "great" looks like for an embedded enablement partner.
  • Consistency at Scale: Build shared standards, templates, and playbooks so ongoing enablement feels consistent across business lines while still fitting each pod's motion.
  • Prioritization & Escalation: Help REMs manage competing priorities, push back where needed, and escalate tradeoffs, so the team spends its time on the work that moves revenue.
  • AI-First Enablement: Set the expectation that the REM team builds AI first. Coach REMs to use AI to create content, practice, and coaching at scale, share what works across pods, and make AI fluency part of how every REM grows.

Floater Coverage Across the Business Lines

  • Bandwidth Coverage: Act as a hands-on enablement lead wherever the business needs it most. Cover open seats, leaves, launches, and spikes in demand across business lines without missing a beat.
  • Hands-On Delivery: Diagnose performance gaps, then design and facilitate training, certifications, role-plays, and coaching sessions yourself, in person and virtually.
  • Launch Readiness: Step in to drive enablement for high-priority product, pricing, and process launches that span several pods.

Business Acumen

  • Know the Business Cold: Build a deep understanding of each of Engine's core businesses, including how they sell, who they serve, what they're measured on, and what's changing in their market.
  • Strategic Partner to Revenue Leaders: Partner with sales, account management, and client-facing leaders to turn business priorities and performance data into the right enablement response.
  • Connect the Dots: Spot themes across business lines, such as shared skill gaps, cross-sell opportunities, and repeated field questions, and turn them into scalable programs instead of one-off fixes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, and the onboarding team so messaging, tools, and processes reach the field in a form people can use.

Programs & Measurement

  • Everboarding Programs: Own the framework for continuous learning after onboarding, including skill-building paths, certifications, methodology reinforcement, and manager coaching toolkits.
  • Measure What Matters: Define and track enablement KPIs per business line, such as program adoption and certification, time to productivity for tenured role changes, quota attainment, win rates, conversion, and retention or expansion, and report impact to revenue leadership.
  • Enablement Tech Stack: Make sure REMs and reps get full value from our tools. Working with our tools and systems team to ensure new tools actually get adopted.

Why This Role: AI-First at Engine
At Engine, AI isn't a side project. It's how we work. Our access to create with AI is incredibly unique, and this role is a rare chance to get exposure to a ton of AI tools and learn from the best. The expectation is simple: AI first, to create scale. Building this way grows Engine, and it grows your skill set too. As a leader, you'll set that standard for the entire REM team. If you're growth-minded and excited to build what's next, you'll thrive here.

What You'll Bring to Engine:

We're looking for someone who's ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:

  • Experience: 6+ years in revenue enablement, sales enablement, sales training, or a customer-facing revenue role, including 1+ years managing people or serving as a team lead or player-coach for other enablement professionals.
  • People Leadership: Experience coaching and developing individual contributors, whether as a first-time people manager, team lead, or formal mentor, ideally with enablement partners embedded in different teams or segments.
  • Player-Coach Range: You can move from strategy to delivery in the same day. You're comfortable running a team and leading a room.
  • Business Acumen: You learn new business models quickly, can read a pipeline or performance dashboard, and can turn what you see into a focused coaching or program response.
  • Skills: Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management, plus a working knowledge of modern B2B sales methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Data-Driven: Experience defining enablement metrics and showing measurable impact on revenue outcomes.
  • Tech-Savvy: Bonus points if you're fluent in Salesforce, conversation intelligence tools (e.g., Momentum), and enablement/LMS platforms (e.g.,GTMBuddy, LetterAI).
  • AI-First Mindset: You default to AI to create scale, you're energized by learning new tools, and you can bring a team along with you. You're growth-minded and as invested in building your own skills as your team's.
  • Mindset: You're ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and deliver results that matter.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience enabling several business lines, segments, or products at once (e.g., SMB, mid-market, and enterprise, or new business and account management).
  • Background in B2B travel, hospitality, fintech/spend management, or marketplace businesses.
  • Experience carrying a quota or leading a sales or account management team.
  • Experience rolling out AI tools or AI-first workflows across an enablement or revenue team.

Location & Travel:
This role is preferably based in or near one of our hubs in Denver, CO; Tempe, AZ; or Chicago, IL, and we're open to remote candidates elsewhere in the US. Expect to travel about one week per month to work with teams in person, plus major company events.
