This role will also have the opportunity to work closely with eData to drive current and future data management tooling options for Card and Capital One. This individual must possess a data management background as well as in-depth knowledge of processes, risks, and controls, demonstrate strong collaborative capability and a proven track record of building effective cross-functional partnerships and driving improvements preferably including automation. This role is ideal for someone with strong collaboration skills, who is capable of driving transformational change and delivering game-changing value. The preferred candidate will have experience working in Compliance and/or Risk Management organizations within a major financial company, with a solid understanding of process management frameworks, risk and control methodology, control testing methodology, and regulatory requirement management and applicability.

Responsibilities:
- Lead risk, governance, and compliance management activities for High Priority Data, including High Priority Usages (HPUs), Data Products, and Authoritative Sources.
- Partner directly with data producers and consumers to drive timely execution of appropriate data management, compliance, and governance activities.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable routines, procedures, and repeatable processes to ensure consistent HPU risk management across the enterprise.
- Design, develop, and continuously improve Card's data management controls, while autonomously driving the process to evaluate control effectiveness in adherence with methodology.
- Maintain a strategic view of the control environment while driving enhancements.
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Deliver key results and metrics across all data management areas of focus.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of Compliance, Legal, Audit, or first or second line Risk Management experience in support of financial services, cyber, technology, or data management
- At least 3 years of Project or Process Management experience
- At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross-functional projects and programs in Risk
- 5+ years of Compliance, Legal, Audit, or first or second line Risk Management experience
- 3+ years of experience in reporting and analyzing data
- Professional certifications within risk management and/or assurance: Certified Risk Management Professional, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
- PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
