Navan is seeking a strategic and empathetic leader to manage and grow our team of Scaled Account Managers and Account Management Associates within the Commercial segment. As the Manager of this high-impact team, you will play a critical role in shaping team strategy, guiding day-to-day operations, and driving customer satisfaction and retention. You’ll be empowered to build scalable systems and processes that align with Navan’s mission to deliver exceptional service and value to our clients.

This is a unique opportunity to lead in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where feedback and adaptability are key. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, support, and data teams to influence roadmap decisions and optimize the customer experience at scale.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Account Management Associates, each managing 300-500 accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously refine team workflows and customer processes
  • Analyze account health metrics and team performance to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
  • Develop and implement scalable solutions to improve team efficiency and the customer experience
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and thoughtful feedback
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex customer issues, providing guidance and resolution support

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or support, with at least 1 year of people management experience
  • Proven success in leading teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to build and iterate on scalable processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-maker
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for coaching and developing others
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
