About the job:
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, risk profile, and business requirements, through interviews and workshops
  • Document requirements, assess, optimize, and implement systems to ensure process improvements and best practices are followed
  • Undertake the implementation of reinsurance solutions, ensuring seamless integration with clients' existing insurance operations
  • Collaborate with the Client’s internal teams, including operations, accounting, finance, and IT/ Data, to deliver comprehensive reinsurance solutions
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the reinsurance landscape

Job requirements
About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in an Insurance/ Reinsurance firm or with a Consultancy working with Insurance/ Reinsurance clients (preferably outward or ceded)
  • Project management and effective change management skills to execute work through the various phases of the project lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience in target operating models and process design & development, project and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds, and build positive relationships with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure
  • An entrepreneurial mindset to assist in a variety of projects and firm initiatives
  • Willingness to travel as required

The salary range in New York City for this role is $100,000 - $175,000
