Job Description

Translate strategic intent into actionable capabilities by enabling alignment, execution, and integration of strategic priorities. To ensure that strategy is understood and embedded in operational rhythms, decision-making and track strategic KPIs.

Key Functions of the role include :

  • Develop/reference frameworks to facilitate strategic priority setting and translate strategy into business priorities. Support the initial scoping and documentation of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Guide the business leader on aligning initiatives to strategic goals.
  • Identify competitive enablers to recommend strategic interventions, and assess internal capabilities and market dynamics to inform strategic positioning. 
  • Contribute to the development of flexible operating models and client value propositions ensuring that the organisation remains agile, client-centric, and future-ready.
  • Incorporate best practices into strategy execution and advise on innovations that enhance strategic delivery and organisational agility.
  • Guide teams on risk frameworks and embed practices into execution (playbook) and implement controls and metrics to proactively manage operational risks.

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Business Commerce, Finance, Economics or Research
  • 8-10 years demonstrated experience in managing a broad range of projects to completion to achieve defined business objectives or metrics
  • 8-10 years experience influencing and inspiring teams or business leads in driving transformational change through the delivery of strategic imperatives and operational efficiencies within a banking context operating across multiple jurisdictions
  • 6 - 8 years experience in applying data analysis and research to key projects 
  • Demonstrated ability to apply operation oversight and support the Chief Executive in enabling key initiatives across geographies 
  • Experience in driving projects within emerging markets would be preferred 
  • Must be eligible to work in New York permanently, with immediate effect (Non Negotiable)
