Job description 

We are currently looking for an ambitious and diligent individual to join our Transaction Advisory Services team in New York City as a Manager. In this role, you will be working in direct contact with different stakeholders, including corporate clients and private equity firms, providing well-structured advice in the context of acquisition and disposal M&A processes. You will work with senior experts in the field of transaction advisory services, but will mainly focus on: 

  • Performing financial due diligence procedures relating to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses and identifying issues that may be of relevance and could have an impact on the transaction 

  • Identifying and understanding the key business drivers and provide value to the client through our services and the deliverables we produce 

  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of engagements and act as the main point of contact for clients in this process 

  • You will manage the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and engaging in discussions with different stakeholders

  • Steering and providing guidance to team members 

  • Active contribution to business development (both internal and external) and thought leadership is expected

Job requirements 

To ensure that we find the best candidate for this position, we expect our future Manager to have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or similar 

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, including 2 years in Transaction Advisory Services/Financial Due Diligence in a Big 4 environment, or similar professional services firm

  • Ability to manage teams and projects under the guidance of senior team members

  • Financial analytical skills and good accounting knowledge are required, as well as an ability to extract key messages from financial data and translate this into a well-structured report 

  • Ability to identify key operational performance drivers, cash flow forecasting, and flexibility to support clients with a broad array of issues 

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a hunger to be exposed to challenging projects 

  • A drive to solve new issues in a practical and creative manner 

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to be a great team player 

  • Willingness to work mainly from our Midtown office (4-5 days per week)

  • Fluency in English is required

  • Fluent in MS Office (especially with Excel and PowerPoint) 

  • CPA or CPA eligible is preferred but not required

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
