What’s the role?
Bilt is looking for a Manager, Video Production to lead production across our product education and growth marketing video content. This person will serve as the operational backbone of our video output - bringing structure, clarity, and consistency to a high volume of live-action shoots that showcase our evolving product and brand.

You’ll partner closely with product marketing, growth, and brand teams to translate creative ideas into executable production plans. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves building process, and knows how to make complex shoots feel seamless from kickoff to wrap.

In this role, you will…
Own Pre-Production & Planning
  • Lead the end-to-end pre-production process including schedules, shot lists, call sheets, budgets, and timelines
  • Manage intake and prioritization of video requests across teams, setting clear expectations and realistic delivery timelines
  • Translate creative briefs into actionable production plans, proactively identifying risks and production needs
Lead Production Logistics
  • Coordinate all shoot logistics including locations, crew, equipment, talent, permits, and vendor relationships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on set, keeping productions on schedule and troubleshooting in real time
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with freelance crews, studios, and production vendors in NYC and other key markets
Drive Process & Operational Excellence
  • Develop and refine production workflows, templates, and documentation to support scaling video output
  • Track budgets and manage spend across projects, flagging issues proactively
  • Anticipate challenges and create contingency plans for weather, talent availability, and shifting scope

In terms of qualifications, we’re seeking:
  • 5+ years of experience in video production, ideally with a film, production company, or agency background
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail—you’re comfortable living in spreadsheets, timelines, and call sheets
  • Experience managing freelancers, vendors, and external production partners
  • Calm under pressure with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Based in NYC with strong knowledge of local production resources (crew, rentals, locations, etc.)
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience producing product marketing, performance/growth advertising, or educational/documentary-style content
    • Familiarity with fintech, technology, or startup environments
    • Experience collaborating with in-house creative teams and cross-functional stakeholders

Benefits:
  • Compensation - We offer a competitive salary with a meaningful stake in the company via equity and our performance bonus program.
  • Medical Insurance (for you and your loved one) - We offer a variety of different subsidized medical plans (with dental and vision), including a free HDHP with a company-sponsored HSA contribution. We have you covered from Day 1.
  • Wellness Benefits - Enjoy a One Medical Membership, Wellhub (Gympass) Access, family planning programs and more, on us.
  • 401k plan with a match - Retirement may feel more like a pipe dream than a reality but we’re here to help you get there.
  • Commuter FSAs - We believe the best ideas come from being together in one place. We just don’t think getting there should be so expensive.
  • UNLIMITED PTO - Because we believe that working hard shouldn’t mean always working. Take time for yourself as often as you need it.
  • Exclusive Employee only Bilt Points - We give our employees unique opportunities to earn points throughout their time at Bilt.
  • Team Events - We believe in human connection so we hold events to help our employees break from the monotony of the typical work week.

At Bilt Rewards, we believe in transparency and we do our best to make sure the company and our candidates are on the same page as it relates to compensation. In addition to posting salary ranges for our open roles, candidates should expect to be asked about compensation expectations and requirements early on in their interview process. Our goal is to highlight when expectations and Bilt’s salary range may be out of sync, and work with the candidate to determine whether it makes sense to continue conversations.

We are considering candidates with differing levels of expertise for this position. Leveling will be based upon your experience and performance in the interview process.

Where a new hire falls within a range will be based on their individual skills and experience, and how these competencies compare across other employees in the same role. Bilt's bands are designed to allow for individual compensation growth within the role. As such, new hires typically start at the lower end of the range. Bilt rewards performance and outcomes - should you join the company, you will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.

The salary range for a Manager, Video Production is $65,000 - 85,000 and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.
