Lead US GAAP accounting advisory, oversee global delivery center operations, drive business development, ensure financial reporting and compliance (SEC, SOX), design internal controls, and mentor cross-geography teams.
Responsibilities:
1. US GAAP Accounting Advisory
• Provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of US GAAP standards, including revenue
recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), and business combinations (ASC 805), Complex financial instruments
(ASC 480, ASC 815).
• Support clients with implementing new accounting standards, addressing regulatory changes, and resolving
complex financial reporting issues.
• Develop and review accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational alignment.
2. Global Delivery Center Operations
• Collaborate with global delivery centers to optimize resource utilization, reduce costs, and ensure timely
project execution.
• Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and quality metrics to maintain high standards across
global teams.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, training, and alignment of global teams with firm policies and client
expectations.
3. Business Development & Client Growth
• Drive business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand client portfolios.
• Develop and present customized proposals to prospective clients, securing high-value engagements.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on technical accounting and
business strategies.
4. Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and SEC
requirements.
• Assist clients in addressing financial reporting challenges and preparing for regulatory audits or reviews.
• Provide advisory on the financial implications of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
5. Internal Controls & Risk Management
• Design and evaluate internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR), ensuring compliance with SOX and other
regulatory frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Recommend process improvements to strengthen control environments and enhance compliance.
6. Leadership & Team Development
• Mentor and lead cross-functional and cross-geography teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and
regulatory standards.
• Foster collaboration between onshore and offshore teams to deliver seamless and high-quality client service.
• Provide training on US GAAP, technical accounting issues, and global delivery best practices.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in public accounting, with experience in US GAAP advisory, business
development, and global delivery operations. At least 5+years’ experience in current role.
• Certifications: CPA (mandatory); CFA, CIA, or CISA preferred
