Job Description:
This job is responsible for building strategic partnerships with Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, board members and other key decision-makers within targeted client groups. Key responsibilities include being able to provide creative, value-added ideas and solutions based on client needs. Job expectations include possessing a broad range of product knowledge to represent and coordinate the delivery of the full range of Global Corporate and Investment Banking capabilities for priority clients.

Responsibilities:

We’re hiring a Managing Director in our US Financial Institutions Corporate Banking team.  We welcome applicants with experience across any and all FI sectors – Private Capital, Asset Management, Insurance, Banks, Specialty Finance, Market Infra, and Fintech.

The clients are global and require coverage by someone who is a leader in the sector with a global and strategic perspective.  This role functions as the key point of contact for the client in delivering the firm.  Collaborating with and leading teams of product and banking partners locally and globally is essential.  Strong knowledge of the sector, as well as of capital markets, treasury services and risk management products and how they are used by these clients is required.   A proven track record of driving revenue, cross selling, responsibly growing our balance sheet and being a strong culture carrier and role model are essential.

Qualifications

  • At least 10+ years of experience in Corporate Banking or Investment Banking
  • MBA degree with outstanding academic qualifications a plus
  • In depth knowledge of the Insurance and Insurance Brokerage industry
  • Strong client relationships with proven business results
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strategic and creative thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage teams in a fast paced environment
  • Strong team player who can work across a firm at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to understand client financial objectives, analyze financing options and credit risk
  • Ability to effectively interact with and the ability to work and communicate effectively with the immediate team, product partners and important clients
  • Strong team player, willing to learn and assume responsibility and be enthusiastic about becoming a member of a successful and growing team

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$450,000.00 - $450,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
