Position Responsibilities:
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.

- Lead and manage manufacturing teams to achieve production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, workflows, and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with Boeing's safety, quality, and environmental policies
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to support product development and resolve manufacturing issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to reduce waste and improve processes
- Manage resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet production demands
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management
- Oversee training and development of manufacturing personnel to build a skilled and motivated workforce
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and customer requirements, including FAA and other aerospace standards
- Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis for manufacturing defects or delays

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
- 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience applying continuous improvement tools and techniques
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Able and willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing standards and certifications
- Familiarity with Boeing production systems and tools
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all level
- Proficiency with manufacturing software, CMES, ADPP, Excell
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards
