About the Role

Schonfeld's Enterprise Data team is looking for a Market Data Analyst to manage the sourcing, licensing, and entitlements of market data across global vendors, exchanges, and brokers. You'll support Schonfeld’s quantitative, fundamental, tactical, and macro portfolio managers in managing access to datasets across multiple asset classes and regions.                                                                                                

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee day to day user entitlements, usage tracking, and compliance with vendor agreements and exchange rules
  • Manage vendor relationships (Bloomberg, LSEG, etc.), including licensing, onboarding, and cost optimization
  • Help manage exchange audits and compliance queries, ensuring accurate usage reporting and timely resolution with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain inventory accuracy within the Optimize Spend platform while driving cost transparency and consolidation opportunities
  • Monitor data usage, troubleshoot discrepancies, and enforce data integrity controls
  • Maintain documentation of data sources, workflows, and governance processes

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business
  • 2–5 years in market data, data operations, or a related role at a hedge fund, asset manager, or financial services firm
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of financial data, data vendors, and their licensing structures.
  • Hands-on experience with Bloomberg EMRS, Refinitiv DACS, and Optimize Spend
  • SQL and/or scripting experience is a plus
  • Enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $120,000 and $150,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience
