In This Role

As a Market Research Analyst, you will own the end-to-end execution of quantitative research projects, supporting stakeholders through the full research lifecycle—from survey design and programming to data analysis, reporting, and insight development. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality deliverables, accurate data processing, and timely communication of project progress. This role requires strong expertise in survey methodology, survey programming, data analysis, and reporting, along with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable business insights.

Key ResponsibilitiesSurvey Design & Programming
  • Develop survey questionnaires aligned with research objectives and business questions.
  • Apply survey design best practices, including question clarity, logical flow, and bias mitigation.
  • Program surveys using platforms such as Qualtrics, Decipher, or similar survey tools.
  • Implement advanced survey logic, piping, branching, quotas, and randomization.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality assurance (QA) testing to ensure survey functionality and respondent experience.
  • Review and refine surveys to improve data quality and research rigor.
Data Processing & Crosstab Development
  • Clean, validate, and prepare survey datasets for analysis.
  • Code, recode, and structure variables to support reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain crosstab reports aligned with business objectives and analysis plans.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across data cuts and key variables.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate data quality concerns, anomalies, or unexpected results.
Analysis & Insights
  • Execute analysis plans using descriptive statistics and standard quantitative research methods.
  • Analyze survey data to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and key differences across audience segments.
  • Validate findings against research hypotheses and business expectations.
  • Highlight actionable insights and recommend areas requiring further investigation.
  • Support stakeholders with clear, evidence-based interpretations of research findings.
Reporting & Deliverables
  • Create research reports, presentations, and summaries that communicate key findings effectively.
  • Translate complex data into concise, actionable insights.
  • Develop charts, tables, and visualizations that simplify information for business audiences.
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback and iterate on deliverables as needed.
  • Ensure all outputs meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Project & Timeline Management
  • Manage execution timelines across multiple research projects simultaneously.
  • Monitor project milestones and proactively communicate risks, delays, or dependencies.
  • Recommend mitigation plans when project challenges arise.
  • Maintain organized documentation, files, datasets, and project outputs.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with stakeholders and research team members to refine study objectives and methodologies.
  • Support research reviews to improve survey quality, analytical rigor, and business relevance.
  • Ensure research outputs align with stakeholder needs and strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance research efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications
  • 2–5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience designing and drafting quantitative survey questionnaires.
  • Strong survey programming experience with Qualtrics, Decipher, or comparable platforms.
  • Proficiency with survey logic, branching, quotas, randomization, and QA testing.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, crosstabs, and data cleaning techniques.
  • Experience analyzing large-scale survey datasets.
  • Working knowledge of SPSS, R, or similar statistical analysis tools.
  • Experience developing research reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and risk management.
  • Ability to independently execute within established research frameworks and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of experience in market research, marketing analytics, consumer insights, project coordination, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with advanced quantitative methodologies such as:
    • Segmentation analysis
    • Regression analysis
    • Data weighting
    • Advanced statistical modeling
  • Background supporting advertiser, marketing, technology, or digital product research.
  • Demonstrated expertise using SPSS, R, or other advanced analytics platforms.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent research studies from design through reporting.
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating survey design, reporting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high-quality deliverables in fast-paced environments.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating consistent tenure and growth within previous roles.

Salary Range 

At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $25 to $27.98 USD/Hourly. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.
