What makes this role important at Ipsos? 

As a Market Research Manager (internally known as Account Manager), you will manage research projects for leading companies. You will work collaboratively amongst the team to assist in uncovering and communicating key insights, context and actionable strategies on all the research projects you work on.


What you can expect to be doing: 

  • Focuses on executional excellence, while growing both internal and client partnership skills 
  • Understands the project lifecycle for custom research and manages projects start-to-finish with exceptional proficiency, with some supervision 
  • Comfortable interacting with clients on execution-focused tasks and contributing to presentations for basic results 
  • Provides pricing support and material development for proposals as requested 
  • Participates in thinking through methodological considerations and recommendations as part of a larger account team 
  • Oversees and coordinates with junior team members providing project level support, delegating work, providing instructions and quality control 
  • Involved in analytic plans, and aspects of report writing to find the story in the data 
  •  Custom survey development 
  • Link checking 
  • Fieldwork monitoring 
  • Data processing and analysis planning 
  • Report visualization and story-telling guidance 
  • Report population and development 
  • Overseeing role of Analyst on these tasks, where both may play a role 
  • Tasks performed under supervision of manager/senior team members 

  

This might be the job for you if you have: 

  • At least 2 + years of market research experience Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint 
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s level education an asset 
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness in completing all tasks 
  • Ability to positively interact with internal support teams 
  • Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail & demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information 
  • Data savvy with a basic knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools a plus 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation 
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted project budgets and to create, manage, and commit to a project plan, schedule and budget 
  • Highly motivated, self-directed & possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines 
  • Thrives within a team environment 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills with well developed interpersonal and presentation skills

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $80,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
