About Zeno AI

Zeno AI helps people rehearse high-stakes conversations before they happen.

We launched in May 2026 with a voice-based AI interviewer that runs realistic mock interviews, scores candidates with recruiter-grade rigor, and gives concrete coaching tied to specific moments in the conversation.

Today, over 200 candidates and a handful of companies use Zeno. We’re starting with interview prep, but the broader vision is to help people prepare for any high-stakes conversation: sales pitches, fundraising calls, negotiations, performance reviews, podcasts, panels, and more.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Founding Marketer to help define Zeno’s voice, grow our user base, and turn early traction into a repeatable acquisition engine.

You’ll work directly with the founders on positioning, content, growth experiments, partnerships, social media, email campaigns, and community distribution. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to build the marketing function from zero at an early-stage AI company.

You should be comfortable moving fast, testing scrappy channels, writing sharp copy, and figuring out what actually gets job seekers, students, professionals, recruiters, and companies to try Zeno. We care less about perfect credentials and more about whether you can create momentum, communicate clearly, and help us find repeatable growth.

What You’ll Do

Develop Zeno’s messaging, positioning, and brand voice across audiences

Create and test marketing campaigns for job seekers, students, professionals, recruiters, and companies

Own content across LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, X, Reddit, newsletters, blogs, and other relevant channels

Write landing page copy, email campaigns, launch posts, ad copy, user stories, and product explainers

Run growth experiments across communities, schools, job-search groups, Slack/Discord channels, and professional networks

Help build partnerships with universities, career centers, student groups, recruiting communities, bootcamps, and hiring teams

Turn user stories, interview insights, and product moments into compelling content

Analyze campaign performance, conversion funnels, signups, activation, and retention

Work with the founders to test paid ads, influencer campaigns, referral loops, and outbound campaigns

Help create demo videos, product walkthroughs, short-form clips, and educational content

Own marketing projects end-to-end, from idea to execution to iteration

Help define the marketing culture, growth rhythm, and public voice of the company

What We’re Looking For

Strong writing ability and sharp marketing instincts

Experience creating content, running campaigns, growing communities, or building an audience

Ability to understand users and translate their pain points into clear, compelling messaging

Comfort testing scrappy growth channels and moving quickly based on results

Strong taste for copy, hooks, positioning, and storytelling

Interest in AI, recruiting, career development, education, coaching, or communication tools

Analytical mindset and comfort using data to decide what to double down on

Ability to work independently with high ownership and low ego

Comfort operating in ambiguity at an early-stage startup

Clear communication and willingness to work closely with founders, users, and early customers

Nice to Have

Experience marketing AI products, SaaS products, consumer apps, HR tech, edtech, or career platforms

Experience growing TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Reddit, newsletters, or community channels

Experience with paid ads, influencer marketing, SEO, lifecycle email, referral programs, or campus ambassador programs

Experience using tools like Canva, Figma, CapCut, Webflow, Framer, Notion, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Substack, PostHog, Google Analytics, or similar tools

Experience making short-form video content, product demos, founder-led content, or UGC-style ads

Experience with university distribution, student groups, recruiting communities, bootcamps, or professional organizations

Strong understanding of job seekers, interview prep, recruiting, sales enablement, or professional development

Previous startup, founder, creator, or growth experience

Comfort working with AI tools to create content, analyze performance, and speed up execution

Logistics

Full-time preferred, but open to exceptional part-time candidates

Remote OK

NYC or SF preferred, but not required

Early-stage role with meaningful equity

Compensation depends on experience and commitment level
