General Summary



Dolce Vita is seeking a creative and driven Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, this role plays a key part in bringing the Dolce Vita brand to life across brand, wholesale, and retail channels. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, detail-oriented marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about fashion, storytelling, and building meaningful connections with consumers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing brand while developing broad marketing expertise across multiple disciplines.

 

The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role.  This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site.

 

Key Responsibilities


Brand Marketing

  • Support the development of marketing plans and execution of 360° campaigns for new product launches and collections
  • Assist in maintaining brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and creative vision
  • Collaborate with Influencer, creative, PR, and social media teams to develop compelling content and storytelling initiatives
  • Monitor brand sentiment, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies

 

Wholesale Marketing

  • Support Wholesale Marketing efforts across Dolce Vita and DV brands
  • Partner with the wholesale sales team to develop Coop marketing programs and materials for key accounts
  • Create and manage seasonal selling tools, digital assets and custom programming tailored to wholesale partners
  • Coordinate marketing support for key account activations and events
  • Track wholesale marketing performance and provide recaps and insights to inform future programs

 

Retail Marketing

  • Support the planning and execution of retail marketing initiatives, including in-store promotions, seasonal activations
  • Collaborate with the e-commerce and digital teams to align retail marketing strategies with online initiatives
  • Assist in managing retail marketing calendars and campaign timelines to ensure on-time delivery
  • Analyze retail marketing performance metrics and contribute to post-campaign reporting
  • Assist with Retail Marketing budget tracking

 

International

  • Assist with creative assent management across global partners distributing content regularly and as needed
  • Store opening support including visual merchandising tools, floral installs, in-store signage, in-store activations, general experience
  • Day to day communications
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in-office marketing, preferably within the fashion, footwear, or lifestyle industry
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing principles and integrated marketing strategies
  • Experience working with wholesale or retail partners is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) preferred
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms, including email marketing tools, social media channels, and analytics dashboards



The expected base salary for this position ranges from $26.00 - $30.00. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
