Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator at ESPN plays a pivotal role in supporting the development and execution of integrated marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing ESPN's brand presence, promoting ESPN’s documentaries, podcasts, & television shows, and engaging sports fans worldwide. This role involves collaborating across various departments to ensure consistent and compelling brand messaging and ensure consistent and compelling original content campaigns across all channels. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong understanding of sports and popular culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of comprehensive brand marketing campaigns that align with ESPN's strategic objectives and resonate with the target audience.
  • Coordinate marketing activities, including events, promotions, sponsorships, and partnerships, ensuring seamless execution and brand consistency.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including presentations, promotional collateral, and digital content, adhering to ESPN's brand guidelines.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for brand growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, digital, social media, and content) to develop and produce high-quality marketing assets.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support the Brand Marketing Assoc Director in managing relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand marketing and sports entertainment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 months’ experience in Marketing, Brand or Sports Marketing
  • Passion for Marketing and sports fans
  • Experience executing Marketing campaigns with a focus on acquisition, retention, and engagement with proven results
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest in the changing landscape of sports media
  • Comfortable analyzing data in collaboration with Research teams
  • Great teammate with strong written and verbal communication skills

Required Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's Degree

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $56,600.00 to $75,900.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
