About Motom

Motom (https://company.motom.me/) is where creators and brands collaborate to drive commerce. Through Motom’s multi-brand storefronts and our white-label social commerce B2B platform, Anchor, we help creators and brands collaborate in easier, more impactful ways.

We’re a small but fast-growing team building the future of the creator economy — and we’re looking for motivated summer intern to join us.

About The Role

As our Marketing & Design Intern, you'll be at the intersection of visual storytelling and social e-commerce. You'll work hands-on with the Partner Strategy & Execution team to bring Motom's brand to life across social platforms, support brand initiatives, and help produce assets that resonate with influencers and audiences across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

This is a paid opportunity. Candidates should be available for 15 hours per week from the end of May to mid-August in New York, NY, with some hours in our NoMad office.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with integrated marketing design — formatting assets, decks, and external materials
  • Update creator and client-facing resources such as FAQs, best practice guides, and campaign briefs
  • Support email marketing efforts — help design templates, draft copy, and track campaign performance
  • Prep, attend, and recap creator and client meetings
  • Own social media monitoring and community engagement across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
  • Create and schedule content for Motom's social channels — from concept through caption
  • Maintain content calendars and execution timelines across creator and brand campaigns
  • Support case study development by gathering visuals and compiling content highlights
  • Research and vet creator profiles for outreach, identifying talent that aligns with brand aesthetics

Who We're Looking For:

  • Rising college junior/senior, recent graduate, or early-career professional
  • A strong eye for design and visual storytelling — portfolio or examples of content creation a plus
  • Experience with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar)
  • Active and fluent on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram; stays on top of emerging creator platforms and trends
  • Strong interest in the creator economy, social commerce, and brand aesthetics
  • Highly organized, proactive, and energized by fast-moving creative environments

What You'll Gain:

  • Hands-on experience building brand presence in the creator economy
  • Exposure to both creator-facing and client-facing marketing functions
  • A portfolio of real social and integrated marketing work
  • Mentorship from leaders in creator partnerships and marketing tech
