  • Overview

Own hands-on marketing execution across brand, lifecycle, and experience in a founder-led, early-stage consumer brand at the intersection of consumer and health.

  • Description

Coral Care is building a trusted consumer brand in a category where clarity, empathy, and emotional resonance matter deeply.

Families come to us when something feels off with their child and they do not know where to turn. Clinicians come to us because they want to do meaningful work without burning out. Marketing sits at the center of both of those experiences.

How we show up in the world matters. Visually. Emotionally. Locally. This role is about translating that responsibility into a brand families recognize, trust, and talk about in their communities.

We are a fast-growth startup operating at the intersection of consumer and health. We are looking for a Director-level marketer who wants real scope and influence while staying close to the work. This role focuses on executing and scaling a founder-led brand vision with clear ownership over day-to-day marketing delivery.

This role is for you if…

    • You are a startup marketer who likes building, not managing from a distance.
    • You enjoy turning a strong point of view into systems, assets, and programs that actually get used.
    • You think strategically but are comfortable moving quickly in ambiguous environments and making practical decisions with imperfect information.
    • You have worked in early-stage settings where things were not fully baked and you liked that part.
    • You care deeply about brand perception, quality, and how work shows up in the real world, not just in dashboards.

    What you will do

You will own hands-on marketing execution across Coral Care’s ecosystem for both families and clinicians.

    This includes:

    • Executing brand and marketing programs across web, email, social, print, partnerships, and community touchpoints
    • Translating a founder-led brand vision into clear, repeatable systems such as templates, standards, and formats that raise quality and speed
    • Owning parent-facing lifecycle marketing and helping families understand what we do, why it matters, and how to get started
    • Shaping provider-facing marketing and experience so clinicians feel aligned with and proud to be part of Coral Care
    • Building physical and experiential brand systems that show up in pediatric and family environments
    • Leading local market activation as we expand into new cities, including partnerships, referral ecosystems, events, print materials, and grassroots brand building
    • Creating polished, thoughtful assets that support referrals, partnerships, and local presence
    • Partnering closely with the CEO on vision and priorities while owning execution and follow-through

This is a Director-level role with hands-on ownership. You will be writing, reviewing, coordinating, and shipping real work. Over time, this role will help shape how the marketing function grows. Today, it is centered on building, executing, and refining the core marketing engine.

    What success looks like

    Within your first year:

    • Coral Care feels cohesive, intentional, and recognizable across every channel
    • Parents quickly understand what we do, who it is for, and why they can trust us
    • Clinicians feel proud to represent the brand and confident explaining it to families
    • Local markets feel activated, visible, and embedded in their communities
    • Marketing work is easier to execute because systems and standards are clear
    • Your work shows up not just in dashboards, but in homes, schools, and neighborhoods

What will help you thrive in this role

    • You have built or scaled a consumer brand from scratch or through a period of rapid growth
    • You can think strategically while moving quickly in early-stage, ambiguous environments
    • You have marketed to more than one audience at a time, such as a two-sided marketplace or multi-audience business
    • You balance creative judgment with an understanding of what drives momentum and results
    • You have experience leading small teams or collaborating with contractors while remaining deeply hands-on
    • You understand how brands show up in real-world environments, not just digital channels

    What we are looking for

    • Based in or around NYC
    • Hands-on marketing experience at an early-stage startup is required
    • 6 to 10 or more years of experience owning programs end to end
    • Strong brand instincts paired with operational follow-through
    • Experience building or scaling a consumer brand is strongly preferred
    • Backgrounds in CPG, DTC, parenting, wellness, marketplace, or family-focused consumer categories are especially relevant
    • Experience with local, experiential, or community-driven marketing is highly valued
    • Experience marketing to parents or families is a meaningful advantage
    • Healthcare experience is not required

    Why Coral Care

This is an opportunity to build a category-defining consumer brand at the intersection of consumer and health.

You will have real ownership, real visibility, and a direct partnership with a founder who leads brand vision closely. You will translate that vision into work that shows up meaningfully in the world across digital, physical, and local environments.

If you love building brands that people trust, recognize, and talk about in their communities, this is a rare opportunity to do that while working on something that deeply matters to families and clinicians alike.

    Benefits

    • Competitive medical coverage for you and your family
    • Meaningful equity ownership in a growing Series A company
    • Generous PTO policy, plus paid holidays
    • Paid parental leave for all parents
    • Hybrid work model with flexibility to balance focused work and in-person collaboration
    • Access to a 401(k) plan
    • The chance to build something that supports families and clinicians in a meaningful way
