MARKETING EVENTS COORDINATOR
 
Summary:
GSTV is America’s #1 On the Go Media company reaching 115M consumers every month, via an entertaining show in a high attention moment in the consumer journey. As the Marketing Events Coordinator for the Marketing department, you’ll play a key role in showcasing our brand through engaging, high-impact industry events and activations that inspire partners and clients alike. You’ll help bring our marketing strategy to life through meticulously planned event execution—whether it’s an industry conference, a creative client activation, or an internal celebration.

This position reports to the VP, Brand Strategy and Communications, and will work closely with our Marketing, Sales, Retailer, and Creative and Design teams to make every GSTV event shine—and run like clockwork.  The Marketing Events Coordinator will assist with industry events and sponsorship execution and perform administrative support for the Marketing Communications team.
 
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
Event Administration, Production and Execution
·       Assist in the organizing of promotional, sales, and retailer events and attend them as needed to facilitate their success
·       Assist with conference registration for the Revenue and Retailer Teams
·       Track and record event expenses
·       Design and produce invitations, programs, signage and promotional items in accordance with GSTV’s brand guidelines
 
Swag Maintenance
·       Maintain inventory, prepare and deliver promotional “swag” and branded items
 
Reporting
·       Assist with producing marketing event recaps including helping to collect data to inform success metrics
·       Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather and record important data (web analytics, rankings, etc.)
 
General Marketing Administration
·       Undertake daily marketing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
o   Assist with tracking and recording press hits and clips.
·       Coordinate and prepare purchase orders and expense reports as requested
·       Share inbound emails and requests to the appropriate internal teams
 
Senior Leadership Support
·       Support Marketing Team executives in organizing various projects, scheduling and coordinating meetings, and booking reservations
 
Other
·       Other marketing projects as assigned or requested
 
Requirements: 
To perform this job successfully, the individual must have knowledge related to basic marketing events and/or administrative support functions. The individual must be highly detail-oriented and having the ability to be flexible in quickly moving from one project to another is imperative, including tremendous follow through. In this position the individual must have the ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. The qualified individual will have strong problem-solving skills with an ability to anticipate the needs and potential problems in the areas in which they support. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related program or field is required. A minimum of 2-3+ years of prior event planning/coordination or marketing assistant experience.
