Privy is the simplest way for developers to onboard users and manage wallets in crypto and fintech products. We’re already powering products like OpenSea, Blackbird, and Hyperliquid—and growing fast.
As our first marketing hire, you’ll shape how the world understands what we’re building. You’ll define our strategy across brand, product marketing, content, and community—and roll up your sleeves to execute it.
You’ll help us reach two distinct (and equally important) audiences:
Crypto-native startups looking to move quickly and optimize for UX
Fintech companies and enterprises who value trust, compliance, and control
These groups buy differently, speak different languages, and often hang out in different places. Your job is to help us meet them where they are—with crisp messaging, useful content, and a strong presence in the communities they care about.
You will…Set the strategy and execute the work. Define what great marketing looks like for Privy—and make it happen.
Build our story and tell it well. Explain what makes Privy’s approach to onboarding so different and so powerful, especially in a fast-moving and technical market.
Create content people actually want to read. From technical explainers to customer stories to community updates, your work will help us earn attention and trust.
Make sure we show up in the right places. That might mean X, Farcaster, a developer Discord, a fintech conference, or a niche SEO landing page. You’ll figure out what matters and help us show up consistently and credibly.
Work closely with product, engineering, and sales. You’ll be in the room with decision-makers, shipping work that actually moves the business.
You’ve worked in marketing and/or technical roles with developer tools, fintech, or blockchain.
You’re excited by the idea of building from zero to one. You approach frontier markets with a goldsmith's craftsmanship: working not just to operate within them, but shape them wholly. That is our opportunity.
You like learning from engineers, and you’re comfortable diving into the technical details.
You’re curious about how blockchain infrastructure can power real applications—not just speculation.
You can switch gears easily: writing a case study one day, working on a product launch the next.
You’re NYC-based and energized by in-person collaboration with a small, fast team.
You prefer staying in your swim lane—this is a cross-functional, shape-shifting role.
You’re not interested in marketing technical products to technical buyers.
You want a big team or an existing engine—this is early-stage, and you’ll be setting the foundation.
You’re looking to manage others right away. This is an individual contributor role with a path to grow into leadership, but you’ll be hands-on for a while.
Privy is at a special moment. We have strong product-market fit, real revenue, and customers who love what we’re building. But we’re still small—under 20 people. That means you’ll have real ownership, real impact, and a front-row seat to shaping how we scale.
We believe in giving developers the tools they need to build better products—and giving users more ownership, privacy, and control online. If that mission resonates, we’d love to meet you.
