TULU Is Not For Everyone

We’re looking for people with a strong sense of agency—overachievers who want to achieve great things in life. Those who thrive on big challenges, hard work, bold responsibilities, and purpose-driven teamwork. People who see failure not as an end, but as a step toward learning and growth.

If that’s the kind of environment you’re looking for, applying to TULU could be the best first step in your journey.

About the Role

Own the content engine and marketing calendar that powers awareness, activation and education across our owned channels. You’ll turn Marketing and Product use-cases into clear, high-impact stories; plan and publish a predictable cadence across app, email/push, digital screens and social; and partner with Growth and UX to A/B test copy and education flows.

This is a content-only role (not brand architecture); hands-on writing and calendar ownership are core.

Responsibilities

  • Run the marketing calendar: plan seasonal moments, launches, and education series; keep production on time.
  • Produce end-to-end campaign content (brief, copy/scripts, asset checklist, QA, publish & postmortem) across app, email/push, digital assets, and social.
  • Own Braze setup for content delivery: configure canvases/campaigns, segment & trigger logic, templates, naming conventions, rate limits, QA, and basic deliverability monitoring across email/push/in-app; maintain experiment flags and reporting hooks.
  • Maintain messaging pillars and a snippets library (headlines, CTAs, local marketing partners talking points) by segment (students/young pros, etc.).
  • Improve in-app & lifecycle microcopy with A/B tests in partnership with Growth & UX.
  • Atomize each flagship story into channel-fit variants; ensure instrumentation (QR/deep links) for performance reads.
  • Collaborate with Physical Marketing (on-site placements) and local Partner Marketing to localize content at scale.

About You

You are a creative and clear writer-producer who keeps a predictable release rhythm. You measure impact (CTR, engagement, activation-assist), coordinate cross-functionally, and maintain tidy Braze workflows—segments, triggers, templates—so campaigns ship on time and perform.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in content marketing/storytelling with multi-channel ownership (app, email/push, in-app, monitors, social).
  • Proven editorial/calendar ownership; steady release rhythm under tight deadlines.
  • Braze (or similar system) setup for content delivery (canvases, segments/triggers, templates, naming, rate limits, QA, deliverability, basic reporting).
  • Tight content ops (snippets library, versioning, review flows).
  • Cross-functional collaborator with Growth, UX, Analytics, Physical & Partner Marketing; clean handoffs to Design/Eng.
  • Social savvy: can script short-form video and adapt narratives by segment.

This position is based in our New York City headquarters.

Benefits and perks

  • Competitive compensation package including equity
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • 401K
  • A collaborative, mission-driven culture
