Role Summary

Vacation® is seeking a Marketing Operations and Traffic Manager (Contract)  to support the execution of specific marketing initiatives across brand, product, retail, partnerships, PR, and social. This contract role will report into the Director of Marketing Operations and focus on delivering defined project outcomes on time, on brand, and on budget, with hours and availability mutually agreed upon per project. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives at the intersection of creativity and operations. You’re someone who loves building workflows just as much as you enjoy collaborating with creatives and marketers. Your ability to bring calm, clarity, and momentum to fast-moving projects is crucial in this fully remote, high-growth environment.

ResponsibilitiesProject & Campaign Management
  • Provide project management support for assigned marketing initiatives, such as product launches, seasonal campaigns, retail projects, partnerships, and events.
  • Develop and deliver detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for specific projects.
  • Review project briefs and collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify deliverables and expectations.
  • Traffic tasks and project deliverables through relevant departments and personnel, using agreed-upon tools (e.g., Asana, Figma, Google Sheets), to ensure items within each project are completed on time according to the project scope and deadlines.
  • Develop, write, and refine creative briefs to ensure all assigned projects are initiated with clear objectives, target audience, deliverables, timelines, and relevant background information necessary for creative teams to execute effectively.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks within assigned projects and suggest solutions before issues arise
  • Deliver completed project outputs on time, on budget, and aligned with brand standards
Creative Resource Management
  • Coordinate deliverables with designated internal stakeholders to support project execution
  • Provide input on team capacity as it relates to assigned projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate between marketing, creative, sales, operations & growth. Ie: participating in Design + Copy manager daily standup, Trade Marketing manager weekly status, Product Marketing and Product Development launch status as needed. 
  • Provide project-specific status updates, recaps, and workflow notes to relevant stakeholders as needed for assigned initiatives.
  • Translate creative concepts into clear briefs, timelines, and executional plans
Process, Tools & Operations
  • Track progress and provide updates on assigned projects in agreed-upon formats with the company (which may include Asana, Figma, Google Sheets, or other tools) to ensure stakeholders have visibility into timelines and deliverables.
  • Organize and deliver project outputs and update archival tools, in formats agreed upon with the company, which may include Notion and Google Slides.
  • Provide regular status summaries on assigned projects to keep the team informed of progress, risks and next steps.
  • Contribute feedback on marketing workflows, templates, SOPs, and documentation related to specific, scoped initiatives.
Measurement & Wrap-Up
  • Provide project-specific post-launch recaps, learnings, and performance summaries for completed initiatives.
  • Ensure project deliverables are properly closed out with open tasks resolved, deliverables archived, wrap reports completed, and insights captured for future optimization in partnership with cross-functional owners as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 4 to 7+ years of experience in creative traffic management, marketing project management, integrated marketing, or creative operations (brand or agency side)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • High proficiency with Asana, and comfort using other tools such as Figma, Notion, Google Workspace & Slack.
  • Strong communicator who can confidently manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven - without being rigid
  • Comfortable working with creative teams and balancing structure with flexibility
  • Experience working on fully remote teams
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine love for building great brands
