The Marketing Operations Associate analyzes data to drive performance insights, maintain accounts, ensure compliance, and create automated reporting tools for sales teams.
I. Role Overview
We are looking for a Revenue Enablement Associate to serve as the analytical engine of our affiliate network. In this role, you aren’t just "supporting" a team; you are building the systems and insights that allow our Advertiser and Publisher teams to scale.
Your mission is to turn raw traffic data into actionable commercial intelligence. You will connect disparate data points to assess performance, maintain the health of internal accounts, and build tools that automate manual tasks—effectively giving our sales teams "superpowers" to optimize campaigns and protect our network’s reputation.
II. Key Responsibilities
- Data Integration & Performance Logic: Connect data points across our tracking platform and CRM to analyze the "Why" behind the numbers. Evaluate CPA, conversion rates, and traffic quality to provide a 360-degree view of the network's health.
- Internal Account & Campaign Maintenance: Act as the operational owner for internal house accounts and strategic campaigns. Ensure accounts are updated, performing against benchmarks, and optimized for maximum yield.
- Compliance & Network Integrity: Monitor the network for brand safety and compliance violations. Act as the "eyes and ears" to ensure publishers adhere to advertiser terms, protecting both our clients and our long-term reputation.
- Internal Tool Building: Design and maintain automated reports, ROI calculators, and "Sales Cheat Sheets" in Excel/Google Sheets to eliminate manual data-pulling for the sales teams.
- Performance Assessments: Run recurring audits on Advertiser and Publisher accounts to identify growth opportunities, margin leaks, or suspicious traffic patterns.
- Commercial Enablement: Provide the Sales and Publisher teams with the data-backed insights (the "ammunition") they need for high-stakes client calls, performance reviews, and renewals.
III. Candidate Profile (The "Systems" Mindset)
- The "Puzzle Solver": You enjoy taking messy data from different sources (like a payout list and a traffic log) and finding the common thread.
- Analytical & Curious: You don't just pull a report; you ask, "Why is this campaign converting at 10% while others are at 2%?" and go find the answer.
- Excel Enthusiast: You are comfortable (or eager to become an expert) with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and logic-based formulas.
- Performance Marketing Fan: You are fascinated by the mechanics of digital marketing—understanding how attribution, pixels, and CPA models drive the network.
- Compliance Mindset: You understand that "fast" isn't as good as "right." You have a keen eye for detail and can spot anomalies that might indicate fraud.
IV. Nice to Have (The Innovation Edge)
- AI & Automation Curiosity: Interest in using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to summarize data, draft compliance reports, or write basic scripts.
- Agentic Workflows: Experience with—or a strong desire to learn—how to use AI Agents to automate repetitive tasks (e.g., using an agent to cross-reference publisher sites against brand-safety guidelines).
- Prompt Engineering: Ability to interact with Large Language Models (LLMs) to clean messy CSV data or generate performance summaries for the sales team.
V. Why This Role?
- High-Growth Career Path: Breaking into Revenue Enablement puts you on a trajectory toward strategic leadership roles like Director of Enablement or Strategy.
- Direct Impact: The tools you build and the compliance you maintain will directly impact our company's profitability and reputation.
- Deep Industry Knowledge: You will learn the "under the hood" mechanics of the affiliate industry, making you a subject matter expert in digital performance marketing.
