About VeeFriends Cards

VeeFriends Cards is the official trading card vertical of VeeFriends, combining beloved characters, community-driven storytelling, and the culture of collecting. We’re building a modern collectibles brand that lives at the intersection of sports, trading cards, and pop culture—meeting fans where they spend their time, especially on TikTok.

About the Role

We’re looking for a marketing-driven platform strategist who can turn casual watchers into lifelong fans through smart social strategy, sharp analytics, and standout creative.

You will own VeeFriends’ presence on X and lead strategic growth across other high-leverage broadcast channels (IG Broadcast Channel, Facebook Broadcast Channel, TikTok Bulletin, etc.), and platform Stories.

This is not a posting/operations role — it’s a growth architect role.
You will blend:

  • platform mechanics
  • audience psychology
  • funnel design
  • content packaging
  • strong copywriting
  • and real performance data to create content engines that build reach, depth, and loyalty.

Core Responsibilities1. Own Platform Strategy for X + Broadcast Channels

You own the blueprint.

  • Define the content strategy for IG, FB, TikTok, and other broadcast-style channels.
  • Map platform-native behavior to content goals (awareness, education, entertainment, conversion).
  • Identify “platform unfair advantages” and build repeatable content systems around them.
2. Content & Campaign Architecture

Drive content that performs.

  • Develop content formats, series, and funnels that scale reach and retention.
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager of Social on tone, voice, and storytelling direction.
  • Write or co-write high-performing posts, threads, hooks, and content narratives.
  • Own packaging: formatting, hook structure, pacing, length, CTAs, and timing.
  • Identify moments to move fast — cultural news, character tie-ins, trend waves, industry conversations.
3. Analytics, Performance Tracking & Insights

Make decisions based on truth, not intuition.

  • Track performance across reach, retention, followers, engagement quality, save/share behavior.
  • Deliver weekly insights on what’s working, what’s not, and what to change.
  • Build hypotheses, run experiments, and close the loop with clear insights.
  • Identify inflection points: which posts convert, which formats drive retention, which moments cause drop-off.
4. Funnel Design & Audience Development

Not just growth — meaningful growth.

  • Design top-of-funnel and mid-funnel content that warms casual viewers into repeat watchers.
  • Build conversion mechanisms:
    • multi-post threads
    • end-of-thread CTAs
    • teasers → full videos
    • “enter the universe” content
    • narrative arcs and recurring series
  • Partner with Marketing and Creative to support launches, product moments, and tentpole events.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Tie the platforms together.

  • Work with Social, Creative, Marketing, Animation, Cards, Comics, and Product to align messaging.
  • Brief designers, editors, and writers with clear instructions and expected outcomes.
  • Ensure every campaign has a measurable platform strategy behind it.
6. Competitive Intelligence

Stay ahead.

  • Monitor competitor/industry accounts, trend mechanics, and platform updates.
  • Translate learnings into actionable plays for VeeFriends.
  • Identify new posting patterns, topic clusters, and opportunities for viral reach.

What Success Looks Like
  • X account consistently growing in followers, reach, shares, and inbound discovery
  • Strong top-of-funnel content that drives curiosity and repeat engagement
  • Effective mid-funnel content that deepens attachment to characters and brand
  • Increasing conversion rates from “casual scroller” to “engaged fan”
  • Clear insights driving creative decisions and platform direction
  • High signal-to-noise content — intentional, strategic, not random posting
  • Predictable growth patterns built through systemized content

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–6+ years in social strategy, growth, or content marketing
  • Proven track record growing a brand or creator account (ideally on X)
  • Strong understanding of platform mechanics across X, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube Community
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable reading data and extracting insights
  • Excellent copywriting, hook-writing, thread-making, caption writing
  • Ability to architect content funnels, not just format standalone posts
  • Deep curiosity about culture, fandom, audience psychology, and digital storytelling

Preferred
  • Experience in entertainment, IP brands, animation, or creator-led brands
  • Knowledge of character-driven storytelling and world-building
  • Strong instincts on content timing, virality patterns, and cultural waves

Personality Fit
  • Hungry for growth
  • Obsessed with platform mechanics
  • Writes fast, clean, compelling copy
  • Data-minded but creative
  • Comfortable moving quickly and iterating
  • Sees patterns others miss
  • Uses platform data to tell the truth, not protect ego
