EarnIn is seeking a highly organized and strategic Marketing Program Director to serve as the operational and programmatic backbone of the Marketing organization. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role is responsible for ensuring that marketing runs like a well-oiled machine: from creative operations and cross-functional project management to budget oversight, finance coordination, and legal & compliance partnership.
You will own the systems, workflows, and processes that allow every function within Marketing to operate with speed, clarity, and accountability. You'll manage Creative Operations end-to-end, serve as the single point of contact for Finance, Legal & Compliance, and budget management across the marketing function, and drive ad hoc strategic projects as the organization scales.
This is a senior role for an operationally excellent, hands-on leader who thrives on building structure in complex environments, connecting dots across teams and functions, and enabling world-class marketing output with rigor and consistency.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $184,000 - $224,000 plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This role is hybrid with the expectation of working from our Mountain View offices 2 days per week.
What You'll DoCreative Operations- Own Creative Operations end-to-end: Lead all Creative Operations efforts, including workflow design, intake management, resourcing, and delivery, ensuring the Creative team can focus on producing exceptional work.
- Creative Workflow Management: Own the day-to-day creative workflow from intake through delivery, ensuring requests are documented, prioritized, assigned, tracked, and completed on time.
- Work Intake & Project Pipeline: Manage creative intake across teams, ensure briefs are complete and standardized, and coordinate work assignment across the creative team in partnership with Creative and Marketing leads. Build and maintain project plans and timelines, track milestones and dependencies, and proactively flag risks or bottlenecks.
- Asset & Deliverables Tracking: Track all creative deliverables across projects, channels, and formats, ensuring assets are correctly named, versioned, and accounted for throughout their lifecycle.
- Digital Asset Management (DAM): Own the implementation, organization, and ongoing maintenance of a centralized DAM (Shade), ensuring assets are searchable, properly tagged, version-controlled, and accessible across the company.
- Brand & Quality Checks: Ensure required reviews are completed and that assets meet documented brand, messaging, legal, and production standards before delivery.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the primary operational point of contact across the Marketing organization, routing requests, managing feedback cycles, and keeping communication clear and documented.
- Status Tracking & Reporting: Maintain project trackers and generate regular status updates on active work, deadlines, and capacity across Marketing.
- Ad Hoc Project Management: Lead and execute ad hoc project management initiatives across all areas of the Marketing function, stepping in to drive structure and accountability wherever needed.
- Finance Point of Contact: Serve as the primary liaison between the Marketing organization and the Finance team, managing all finance-related coordination across the full marketing function, including forecasting inputs, invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting cycles.
- Marketing Budget Management: Own ongoing budget management across the Marketing function, tracking spend, maintaining budget trackers, flagging variances, and partnering with Finance to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Legal & Compliance Point of Contact: Serve as the single point of contact between Marketing and the Legal & Compliance team. Own the TPRM (Third-Party Risk Management) process for all vendors and partners across the marketing function, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
- Operational Efficiency & AI Adoption: Identify inefficiencies within marketing workflows, evaluate AI-powered tools, and lead implementation to replace or streamline manual processes. Drive adoption through system configuration, updated workflows, documentation, and training across creative and marketing teams.
- Automation: Implement AI and automation solutions for intake, project tracking, asset tagging, version control, reporting, and handoffs to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency.
- 7+ years of experience in program management, creative operations, or marketing operations, ideally within a marketing, design, or advertising organization.
- Proven ability to manage and scale multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience serving as a cross-functional liaison to Finance, Legal, or other business operations teams, with comfort navigating budget management and compliance workflows.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and senior stakeholder management skills; comfortable operating at the CMO level.
- Highly organized and proactive with meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience working with project management and collaboration tools such as Monday.com.
- Demonstrated success driving operational efficiency and building scalable processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a technology, fintech, or high-growth startup environment.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems, project management softwares, and marketing technology platforms.
- Understanding of digital marketing, brand campaigns, and performance creative production workflows.
- Experience with legal approval processes and vendor management in a regulated industry.
- Proficiency in AI project management tools such as Motion.
