  • Manage all in-person event logistics–for both Upwave-owned and ad tech industry events–including vendors, budgets, third-party participation, timelines, promotional materials, shipping, registrations, travel, and on-site coordination.
  • Manage all virtual event logistics including webinar platforms, speaker coordination, registrations, promotions, rehearsals, and live event execution.

Program Execution

  • Support the execution of integrated marketing programs across email, social media, website, and other marketing channels, in partnership with Sales.
  • Ensure program assets, timelines, approvals, and stakeholders remain aligned so initiatives launch successfully and on schedule.
  • Support product launches and major company initiatives by coordinating cross-functional marketing activities.

Marketing Operations

  • Own marketing calendars, project timelines, budgets, vendor relationships, and day-to-day program management across the department.
  • Maintain and improve marketing processes, documentation, and operational workflows to increase the efficiency and scalability of the marketing team.
  • Help administer marketing technologies and operational tools that support campaign execution, reporting, and team efficiency.

Industry Engagement

  • Serve as Marketing’s primary point of contact for trade organizations (CIMM, VAB, etc.), industry memberships (Ad Council), and related partnerships.
  • Coordinate Upwave’s participation in industry initiatives and committees, ensuring opportunities are organized, executed, and leveraged effectively across the business.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Executive Leadership to ensure marketing initiatives are executed successfully.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives while balancing multiple projects, competing priorities, and evolving business needs.

About you:

  • You have 5–7 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, and/or event marketing.

  • You are an exceptional project manager who enjoys organizing complex initiatives with many moving pieces.
  • You take ownership, follow through on details, and can independently drive projects from planning through execution.
  • You communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, partners, executives, and external vendors.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • You thrive in a collaborative startup environment where priorities evolve quickly and no two days are exactly alike.
