Job Title: DOE Marketing Strategy & Execution Consultant

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid/Remote Options Available)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Consultant to help solidify and execute the strategy for a new company initiative. Our project has a clearly defined audience, timeframe, and goal, with some messaging and a preliminary deck already in place. We need an expert to refine our strategy, complete our messaging, and drive execution across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Refinement & Planning:

• Analyze the current strategy, audience, timeframe, and existing messaging.

• Develop a comprehensive marketing plan that fills in gaps and aligns with our goals.

• Collaborate with the internal team to finalize messaging and the presentation deck.

Email & Content Marketing:

• Create compelling email content for various stages of the customer journey.

• Develop follow-up email sequences to nurture leads and drive engagement.

• Design incentives and promotional content to boost conversions.

Marketing Calendar & Campaign Management:

• Build a master marketing calendar outlining key campaign dates and deliverables.

• Develop a process for ingesting email addresses, scheduling meetings, and tracking campaign performance.

• Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Process Development & Reporting:

• Establish a repeatable process for lead management and meeting scheduling.

• Prepare presentations and reports to track progress, measure KPIs, and communicate results to stakeholders.

• Provide recommendations and adjustments based on performance analytics.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy and execution, with a proven track record of advising ed tech startups.

• Prior experience marketing to the NYC Department of Education, with a strong understanding of the local educational landscape.

• Strong background in email marketing, lead generation, and campaign management.

• Proven ability to design and implement processes for data management and customer engagement.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of marketing automation tools and CRM systems is a plus.
