Director of Product Marketing

This role will be focused on connecting the dots between product marketing and sales, becoming the key strategic partner to ensure that products are properly positioned and messaged through new business and upsell sales cycles. This person will truly instrumental in unlocking the potential of Movable Ink’s unique campaign personalization platform for customers and prospects. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to flex product marketing skills while being a key strategic partner to the sales teams.
The role will be reporting to the VP of Product Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of the Movable Ink customer and prospect’s current and future needs, and be the voice of sales to the product organization
- Ensure the Movable Ink messaging and ecosystem positioning resonates with the Movable Ink prospect and customer base. Ability to clearly communicate value propositions and positioning in complicated enterprise technology ecosystems
- Develop and maintain a sales content strategy in collaboration with sales enablement and content/design teams to ensure that sales teams are presenting the most relevant, on-message content to customers and prospects
- Develop, execute, and maintain sales plays to ensure that sales teams are using the best messaging, positioning, and objection handling throughout the sales process to drive more efficient and effective sales cycles. This includes identifying market-specific messaging and positioning needs as Movable Ink expands our geographic presence
- Work collaboratively with account executives on custom messaging and collateral needs for the top 5-10% of new business and up-sell opportunities to ensure that Movable Ink effectively captures and maintains the top enterprise clients in the space
- Ensure Movable Ink pricing and packaging balances the needs of customers/prospects and internal business needs. Pricing and packaging updates are all properly positioned, and communicated internally and into the market
Qualifications:
- Enterprise B2B SaaS experience (in MarTech is preferred, but not a requirement)
- Experience messaging and positioning products in enterprise software ecosystems
- Experience pricing and packaging enterprise SaaS software
- Experience developing and creating sales messaging strategies, plays, and content strategies
- Experience working collaboratively between product, marketing, sales, and sales enablement teams
- 5-7 years of experience
