Over 200M people use Augmented Reality on Snapchat every day, but we are just scratching the surface of what’s possible with AR. We are a passionate team working hard to build and market the best augmented reality platform in the world, and create demand for AR advertising solutions. We’re looking for a Business Marketing Manager, AR to join the Global Business Marketing team.
What you’ll do:
Develop global marketing strategies and campaigns that inspire and educate businesses around the world about Snapchat’s AR ecosystem
Use creativity and business acumen to reinforce how Snapchat’s AR solutions deliver value and business results
Develop sales positioning and messaging, considering value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape, and other factors
Manage the day-to-day execution of the AR b2b marketing plan and associated projects
Author briefs and partner with internal and external creative partners to design and launch campaigns that are as unique, creative, and compelling as AR itself
Develop and maintain best-in-class collateral (e.g. sales narratives, emails, case studies/success stories, presentation documents, multi-sheets) that support the AR always-on education needs and demonstrate the value of Snapchat to clients
Report on and analyze results, identify opportunities for optimization, recommend future campaign iterations to improve performance
Manage quarterly priorities and content development life cycles to ensure timely delivery of material
Monitor the competitive space, industry news and trends to understand marketplace opportunities
Build strong working relationships with leaders across Snap’s Marketing, Global Solutions, Marketing Science, Creative Strategy, Product Marketing, Global Brands, and Global Business Solutions Teams - ensuring we’re leveraging successful AR initiatives across markets and touchpoints.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Understanding of augmented reality, tools used to develop Lenses / AR Experiences, and associated marketplace opportunities for advertisers
Demonstrated ability to lead the development of creative, innovative solutions
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to engage all levels of the organization, with excellent relationship management abilities, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a strong sense of professionalism
Ability to handle conflict appropriately, know when to delegate issues cross-functionally, and when to apply common sense
Ability to plan for and execute projects with minimal guidance, and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent organization skills, acute attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time sensitive environment, while managing to on-time delivery
Demonstrated ability to use data to inform decision making and improve results
Experience guiding creative production of campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials
Keynote presentation development experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of relevant experience in marketing or strategy and development, with prior direct responsibility for developing and coordinating insights-led, impactful sales and marketing campaigns, delivering results that achieve business objectives
Deep understanding of emerging technology and the relevant ecosystem
Experience engaging at an executive level with cross-functional groups
Experience presenting to senior executives
Experience marketing digital learning management systems
