ABOUT THE ROLE
VTS is seeking a Content Marketing Associate who loves writing for many types of channels - from social media, to blogs, to ebooks, to video. You’ll be a key part of a great marketing team taking our message to a big market where we are driving transformation. You will craft the messaging to further accelerate our growth and will be instrumental in our content marketing execution.
Specifically, this role oversees the day to day creation of original content across several external platforms (website, social media channels and more). This role is critical in helping VTS to educate our target audience about the specific business value our solution delivers, helping prospective clients research their technology purchase decision, and accelerating their progress through our deal cycle. The ideal candidate will have an editorial background and be looking for an opportunity that allows them to develop their digital skills.
What You'll Do
- Research, write and edit original content that helps our Marketing team meet and exceed our new business and expansion targets, including blog posts, video scripts, social media posts, emails, eBooks, web copy, case studies, and more.
- Manage blog editorial calendar and blog posting schedule
- Work with internal stakeholders and executive team members to translate ideas and opinions into content including bylines and videos
- Work with network of external freelance writers to manage editorial assignments, including delegating and editing writing projects
- Ensuring digital content is optimized for SEO
- Work with designers to translate written content to beautifully branded content pieces
- Maintain our social media calendar to ensure a consistent presence that promotes our brand across LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
- Maintain our employee brand advocacy platform VTS Buzz, arming our internal stakeholders with content to assist with social selling and personal brand building
- Keep up to date with new social media outlets and trends in content marketing
About You
- 1+ years working in original content creation at a brand, publication or agency (experience in technology a plus)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or Marketing
- An excellent oral and written communicator
- Strong attention to detail
- An ability to meet deadlines and gracefully juggle multiple projects
- Proficient knowledge of Google Suite
- Proficient presentation skills
- Someone who’s excited to learn and willing to get your hands dirty
