We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager to report directly to the Head of Growth and help scale our efforts to grow awareness and strengthen engagement at Flowcode. You may have already seen us in a local business or on TV powering the Olympics and ESPN Gameday or enabling an LA restaurant week. In this role, you'll help us increase brand awareness even more!
You will plan, produce, optimize, and measure the impact of every aspect of our content marketing strategy, including long-form gated assets, thought leadership pieces, SEO targeted content, ad copy, newsletter content, and support copy across our site and ads to ensure a consistent brand voice across the products. You will manage a team of freelance writers, providing editorial expertise and content best practices to cross-functional partners across the marketing organization. As you scale the operation, you will help grow your own team, hiring content creators who are as maniacal about creating an exceptional customer and content journey as you are!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and own the creation of compelling and informative content, including website updates, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, how-tos, landing pages, webinars, newsletters, guides, scripts, and thought leadership distribution channels
  • Develop and maintain a functional content and editorial calendar, based on audience insights, keyword research, SEO strategies, messaging themes, and campaign plans
  • Manage SEO optimized content strategy across Flowcode
  • Act as editorial and brand voice editor across Flowcode. Ensure a consistent brand voice across the website, newsletter, ads campaigns, and blog. Ensure a high level of quality content
  • Manage a team of freelancers and agencies to scale our content production efforts across all touchpoints
  • Establish frameworks that hold all our content to high standards of clarity, effectiveness, and style, ensuring it is on-message, on-brand, and achieves its full potential.
  • Collaborate closely with our paid marketing efforts to improve content across all ads
  • Work to create comprehensive narratives for specific webinars and live events as a events strategy gets rolled out at Flowcode.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of content marketing experience, with a robust portfolio.
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of interaction design principles
  • Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams
  • The ability to balance creativity with strategic, data-driven decision-making
  • Experience with Hubspot
  • Experience with Prismic (ideal) or with other no/low code website builders and CMS tools
  • Experience with Ahrefs
  • Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills
  • Self-starter, able to flawlessly multi-task, work independently with minor supervision, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to work with multiple groups and on tight deadlines
  • Excellent people skills, supporting interactions with colleagues, cross-functional and sometimes distributed teams, and customers
  • Proven track record of using data to drive content creation and iteration
