ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Content Marketing Manager to own and develop our content strategies.

In this role, you will work with the marketing team and cross-functional teams to create a content strategy for demand generation, sales enablement and client success. This role will be an integral part of the marketing team and will own, update and communicate the editorial calendar. 

You will be responsible for developing key content pillars, unique challenger style messaging and formulating strategies for content designed to drive demand at each stage of the buyer’s journey.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, and have a proven skill set for using data to drive decisions on projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and develop a content strategy that encompasses our goals and aligns with the Cohley products and brand
  • Create, manage, and publish a pipeline of diverse content to educate our clients and prospects (short and long form including but not limited to advertising copy, blog posts, case studies, white papers, e-books, email newsletters)
  • Analyze and measure content marketing campaign performance with the rest of the marketing team to inform best practices and future campaign strategies
  • Partner with key clients to produce, distribute, and promote white-papers, case studies, and blog posts promoting their collaboration with Cohley
  • Support development of collateral for the sales team, events, and webinars. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to craft and create outstanding content to support programs that drive momentum and engagement via digital and social media channels.
  • Proactively develop standards, processes, and best practices for innovative content creation, distribution, and repurposing to target and segment buyer persona’s.
  • Support the company’s SEO and SEM optimization by managing the relationship with our external partners.
  • Be an expert at discovering new trends, content categorization and content development. Focus on research that meets our audience needs including PR and wider communities of interest
  • Have a full understanding of the content and trends that resonate best with our audience
  • Support PR and Social Media efforts, as they relate to content production and distribution

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area - Marketing/Communications/Journalism/PR/Digital/Business
  • 3 years experience working in marketing, advertising or publishing
  • Outstanding writing style and editing skills
  • Creative mind, witty, great researcher to be able to come up with new ideas and angles
  • Strong ability to communicate complex ideas simply at different stages in the customer buying journey
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to quantify ROI on content marketing efforts
  • B2B marketing experience would be a bonus
  • Creative thinker, detail-oriented, quick learner, meticulous
