Who You Are

Justworks is seeking a high-energy, creative digital strategist to work as part of our dynamic marketing team. The Digital Content Marketing Strategist will lead the strategy and execution of content experiences across our digital channels to drive awareness, audience engagement and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate is a limitless creative thinker and a strong communicator who is obsessed with social media and has an intimate understanding of pop culture and current trends. You are a data-driven marketer who can inspire others and inject excitement and energy into campaigns.

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On

  • Develop content strategy to live across digital channels to drive awareness, engagement and customer acquisition.
  • Create and execute organic social media strategies at brand and campaign level, including social media copywriting and content calendar creation
  • Work closely with the Integrated Marketing team which leads paid social and search efforts to ensure cohesive creative and proper cadence
  • Ideate and lead influencer marketing and advocacy engagement strategy; identify relevant influencer and brands for content partnership opportunities 
  • Day-to-day platform management, which includes creating, writing and publishing posts
  • Community, calendar and content management; crafting organized and robust file management systems and being the central point of contact for content to flow through
  • Participate in social listening and build engaging content based on what’s buzzing
  • Recommend tools to monitor online trends and brings Justworks into online conversations around relevant moments or hashtags
  • Ideate social concepts and bring them through to completion in partnership with in-house designers and video producer
  • Analyze performance of organic pages and craft reporting strategy, developing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and communicating this analysis and findings to relevant internal groups

How You Will Do Your Work

As a Digital Content Marketing Strategist, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization. In this role, your foundational knowledge, skills, abilities and personal attributes are anchored in the following:

  • Business Insight: Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals
  • Reporting & Insights: Analyze and report on campaign performance, identify trends, and socialize results. Use insights to inform future programs, campaigns enhancements & refinements.
  • Innovation & Digital Curiosity: Ideate and develop digital marketing initiatives to help build an integrated ecosystem; ensuring Justworks delivers a holistic strategy across digital channels and touchpoints.
  • Deep Understanding of Acquisition Landscape: The ability to work across different groups to improve new customer acquisition experience. Proactively researching and monitoring industry trends on a regular cadence to support the development of new creative and drive performance goals
  • Clear Communication: The ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively using oral, written, visual and non-verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills to gain understanding.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading organic social media efforts, specifically Twitter, Instagram, Facebook channels, with TikTok experience being a plus
  • Nuanced understanding of each platform, including how to optimize copy and content and implement audience growth best practices
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of organic content and campaigns, delivering recommendations to maximize results and drive meaningful ROI
  • Understanding of SEO best practices, experience with developing and executing on SEO strategies that drive meaningful results
  • Consumer centric mindset to drive awareness, engagement and customer acquisition
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Inspiring and engaging interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people cross-functionally as well as present to senior leadership
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to personally set priorities and motivate others
  • Proactive, drives projects forward independently
