Datadog is the monitoring and security platform for cloud applications, and recognized as a leader in the Gartner MQ for APM. As we have scaled, our key external stakeholders have expanded from the users who use our product everyday, to business and technology leaders, business and technology press, and industry analysts. Datadog is hiring for a proven Corporate Marketing leader who can lead the continued build out, and execution, of our global communications strategy to scale our awareness and reach with this diverse audience.
Lead Datadog’s global CxO thought leadership programs, PR, AR and Customer Advocacy teams
Build, refine and scale communications programs that reach out to new audiences in new geographies
Implement a metrics-based approach to measure effectiveness and impact of corporate marketing
Act as a trusted thought partner to Datadog’s executive leadership, and provide support to our CxO leadership team for external press communications
Lead a team of 5, and manage external agencies in EMEA and APAC
Experienced marketing professional with 6+ years of experience in corporate marketing, PR or AR
Hands-on experience building both business and technology narratives within the enterprise technology landscape e.g. API Management, APM, Cloud Security, DevOps etc.
Able to lead through influence by establishing strong, collaborative relationships across executive, product and marketing leaders
Compelling written and oral communication and storytelling skills
Demonstrated experience building and scaling successful teams
Proven success in pitching to, and placing articles with Tier 1 Business and Technology press
Experience of skip level management i.e. managing managers
