Galileo is embarking on an exciting new phase of growth, and we’re looking for a self-driven integrated marketer to build and scale our marketing function.  This person will be responsible for understanding, attracting and engaging Galileo users. 

As the Director of Integrated Marketing you will own the offline acquisition and owned channel marketing strategy.  While you should have a good instinct for storytelling, you will have a strong focus on data, campaigns and metrics.  As an early team member you should be comfortable operating as a generalist but also have deep knowledge of acquisition and retention marketing.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with a cross functional team of business leaders to develop and execute market strategy and roadmap. Operate as part of the marketing team but collaborate as needed with the sales, product and business operations teams.
  • Partner with marketing colleagues in Growth, Enterprise and Product Marketing to map out acquisition and engagement strategy, and execute on tactics.
  • Be an expert on what members want from Galileo and feed insights into messaging, driving brand awareness by creating, launching, and executing, in partnership with the growth team, campaigns across digital and offline channels. 
  • Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end acquisition and engagement campaigns, partnership by partnership.. Measure and optimize impact by developing OKRs and analytics to track the impact of your campaigns on key business metrics.
  • Independently plan, negotiate and execute campaigns with vendors
  • Test, learn, iterate and scale by driving continuous improvement in efficiency and ROI, factoring in interaction with activities and on owned, earned and paid channels.  Use different tracking methodologies to understand the cross-channel impact of activities
  • Create and manage the offline acquisition budget to maximize incremental growth. Work with stakeholders to ensure tagging and tracking implementation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in US offline marketing, including direct response, preferably in the DTC space and/or subscription, e-commerce company
  • Experience owning end-to-end marketing strategies. You can create a vision and strategy, establish goals and success metrics, develop a roadmap, and then bring it to life with a strong and collaborative team 
  • Excellent knowledge of the US offline market and relevant vendors, including a strong professional network amongst U.S. media agencies
  • Strong skills in campaign planning, buying and delivery
  • Experience with Digital acquisition channels
  • Strong analytical, problem‐solving capability and consider yourself a Performance Marketer
  • Experience with web analytics (mixpanel, GA, etc.) and Looker
  • Enjoy the creative process ‐ you’ll be working in constant collaboration with brand management, design, and content managers
  • Ability to brief and evaluate creative to optimize for marketing channel
