Director of Product Marketing

The Director of Product Marketing will play a critical role in contributing to the successful go-to-market strategy and execution for ChartHop. This role will inform the product roadmap, drive revenue, and lead a growing team. As the first Director of Product Marketing for ChartHop, you have the opportunity to build out a function and have a meaningful impact on the trajectory of a fast-growing business. This role reports to the CMO. 

We will measure your success through:

  • ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) 
  • Self-serve signups and retention
  • Delivery of scalable, impactful programs


As a Director of Product Marketing, you will:

  • Lead a current team of two and hire exceptional talent to grow the team in proportion to the business
  • Develop deep market expertise, including customers, competitors, and trends, to serve as market expert internally, informing product roadmap, sales strategy, and marketing initiatives
  • Drive the creation and execution of product GTM strategy and tactics in partnership with product management, sales leadership, and demand generation
  • Develop enablement programs and deliver expertise to help sales improve sales cycles
  • Create scalable programs to support the success of our partnership initiatives
  • Build out frameworks and processes for and lead the creation of compelling messaging, personas, segmentation, and pricing and packaging strategies
  • Drive the success of ChartHop’s product-led growth initiatives in partnership with product and UX, using techniques such as funnel optimization, customer lifecycle marketing, and in product marketing 
  • Build relationships with analysts and grow awareness through robust AR programs
  • Own market research initiatives to help inform product and GTM strategies and decisions
  • Drive cross-functional product launches, coordinating the efforts of product management, sales enablement, marketing and partners


Requirements:

  • 10+ years in marketing roles at B2B companies, with 6+ years in product marketing, and significant experience in SaaS
  • Strong product marketing fundamentals; able to translate product attributes into compelling value-driven messages
  • Experience leading, coaching, and growing a team of product marketers
  • Track record of building strong relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Understanding of both sales-led and product-led growth motions and how to drive revenue growth in each 
  • Analytically-oriented, big-picture thinker with a willingness to get hands on when needed
  • Excited to jump in and create an impact in a fast-growth environment

Salary range - $180K- $220K base plus bonus and equity
