Field Marketing Specialist

US

BCGDV is working on a new digital offering that is part of a medtech healthcare company’s digital innovation business unit. This business unit will focus on creating new digital products and platforms that transform the lives of patients. Digital Neurology will be the first product within this digital innovation unit. This product will be a next generation digital platform aimed at a neurological disorder to empower patients to better understand their condition, have better conversations with their doctor and ultimately achieve better health outcomes. The new venture has plans to grow aggressively to engage patient and health care professionals, with an initial focus in the US market. The business will scale aggressively in the next few years, and will be based in London, England, with international travel, up to a third travel to the US.

Due to the planned growth of our venture, we are seeking a world class Field Marketing Specialist for the new Digital Neurology product. The business unit will be based in London, UK but the role will be primarily field based in the US market across Washington DC, New York and Philadelphia tbc. The position will involve 60% travel within the US along with regular travel to London to meet with the wider team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accelerating the adoption of the new Digital Neurology product through market development, driving patient and healthcare professional awareness and education, and enabling patient access
  • Identify market opportunities to increase product awareness including PR, patient advocacy and clinician marketing partnerships
  • Plan and execute marketing & promotional activities for the new Digital Neurology product alongside the Sales & Marketing Lead
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Stay up to date about market and competitor products, sales and marketing activities
  • Responsible for management of marketing collateral alongside other team members in sales & marketing as well as product
  • Be the voice of the customer in content development, marketing initiatives and brand evolution
  • Be a brand and product ambassador for Digital Neurology in the market, including but not limited to product/brand awareness, regional media/PR opportunities, events and conferences 

Background

  • Experience in a tech/startup/agile or other fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote team
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Experience in launching a new product in the healthcare space
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skill
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar discipline
  • US healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical device experience highly desirable
