Head of Corporate Marketing Communications
Outbrain is seeking a results-driven Head of Corporate Marketing Communications to drive reputation and awareness initiatives. This position requires previous experience in brand building, public relations and storytelling preferably in the advertising technology space.
In this role, you will develop the global brand narrative as a basis for increasing market share, and positioning the company as a thought leader in a highly competitive space. Work directly with the VP, Global Marketing to create the company’s external and internal messages, ensuring integration and consistency of messaging.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Outbrain's corporate brand, with responsibility for the internal and external brand experience and corporate messaging, as well as the policies, procedures, guidelines, and training to support the brand.
- Ensure global consistency with regional relevance in all branding- including visual identity, tone of voice, messaging, and thought leadership themes in all external and internal marketing and communications- by successfully engaging with stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Drive and measure positive awareness and perception outcomes
- Manage and drive the content the editorial calendar on a cross-functional basis
- Own content strategy and development for cross-platform strategies, including website content and digital campaigns, corporate presentations and executive thought leadership press releases/awards/white papers/etc.
- Develop and maintain the company’s social media presence, including education/support of executives and other employees
- Develop and proactively advise corporate international PR strategy and campaigns
- Proactively uses media relations to support key corporate business objectives
Knowledge Skills:
- 5-8 years’ experience as a B2B marketer focused on brand and communications
- Experience in successfully leading across organizational boundaries, including strong relationship management skills
- Successful track record in managing consistency of a global brand, with regional relevance
- Experience managing messaging and content globally, in multiple regions, supporting multiple languages, with multiple product lines
- Experience in working with top leadership and C-suite with diplomacy and discretion.
- Proven experience and leadership in developing and executing strategic marketing and global communications plans to build brand awareness, drive demand generation, and support sales enablement
- Experience supporting international PR, in-house and through agencies
- A creative thinker, with exceptional and persuasive oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong writing experience including press releases, byline articles, blogs, and scripts.
- Ability to understand and recognize emerging issues across social media channels with the ability to develop and implement plans to address.
- Proven ability to influence and engage across the organization, including sales and executives
- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and to anticipate future needs
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and problem-solve
