About You

Code Climate operates in a very technology + developer-heavy space. You are a talented data driven Demand Generation Director that can deliver world-class reporting and analytics that show how marketing programs impact revenue; define and track key metrics, and develop dashboards. You understand what it means to be a true partner with sales and sales development teams to develop a high touch marketing strategy that engages enterprise accounts and enables you to hit a 7 figure pipeline target. Your execution of ABM plans is flawless and you have mastered the tools and technologies to do it. 

About the Role

The Head of Demand Generation will report into the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for developing and managing our lead generation initiatives. You will be accountable for the strategy, development, and execution of lead generation programs to drive awareness and demand for Code Climate’s Velocity product. Through online and offline campaigns, you will directly impact the company’s revenue goals. You will work closely with our sales executives, sales operations, corporate marketing, and product teams in the development of the company’s customer acquisition and retention strategies. 

Examples of problems you'll be solving

  • Develop, execute and analyze demand generation campaigns and promotions across a wide spectrum of acquisition and upsell channels to deliver revenue at or above monthly targets
  • Work with sales and sales operations to track and manage lead flow and increase conversion rates at each stage of marketing and sales engagement
  • Manage spends and campaigns across Google Adwords, Display, Paid Social etc
  • Grow new leads (including MQL’s) by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
  • Partner with internal creative and copywriting to design emails and develop content that drives engagement/action.
  • Ensure timely deployment of initiatives and project success by managing stakeholders, calendars, budget, timelines, and processes.
