Job Title: Global Visual Manager (RTW and Lifestyle)

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Visual Merchandising to...
- Responsible in partnership with manager for all timing and deliverables associated with the VM pipeline calendar for role’s categories. Including but not limited to: market preparation documentation, cataloging of all information, global visual assortment recaps, retail activation presentations, global guidelines, visual studio setups, etc.
- Serve as category owner in partnership with manager and VM communications team for all VM documentation, communication, guidelines, regional variations, and training documents for role’s categories.
- Partner with manager and global category merchants on business and product performance. Develop and provide necessary updates to global VM teams to improve business as needed.
- Partner with manager and licensed goods team on respective categories for both retail and wholesale execution. Including but not limited to: external showroom setups, press and trade shows, approvals of external licensed guidelines, and fixture development/needs.
- Support the styling (including creative/prop ideas) for categories as they pertain to showroom and in-store execution including mannequins, fixtures, and windows. Partner with manager, windows, and in-house styling teams for approvals, documentation and implementation.
- Coordinate the visual operations of category internal and external showrooms in partnership with appropriate cross functional departments. Including scheduling needs, fixture and creative needs, facility and housekeeping, sample management, etc.
- Identify future trends/presentation opportunities within categories proactively, appropriately raising VM development/fixture needs to ensure successful deliveries at both market and in-store execution.
- Conduct comp shops and trend analysis in alignment with department workflow and needs.
- Participate and support manager for all global VM initiatives, including global calls, presentations, floorset reviews, training initiatives, store visits, etc.
The accomplished individual will possess...
- A comprehensive knowledge of fashion styling, merchandising and visual display
- Basic understanding of Photoshop and InDesign, or willingness to learn
- Must be comfortable lifting 30lbs, using ladders on an occasional basis
- 5-10 years Visual Merchandising Experience (corporate), or comparable degree in Fashion/Retail
- Fashion/luxury experience preferred
- Must live within commutable distance of NYC
- Hybrid remote/in office as needed
