What this role is about:
The Marketing Analyst will have the opportunity to make a notable impact by joining the team in this data-driven analytics role. We’re looking for someone who has experience working closely with a B2B marketing - and sales - team to drive growth by translating data into compelling business insights. If you’re a curious, self-starter with an aptitude for transforming data into actionable business decisions this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
What you’ll do:
Proactively identify opportunities and challenges through quantitative and qualitative data analysis to support the marketing and sales teams in developing strategic solutions
Partner cross-functionally across the business to support growth marketing initiatives and sales goals, determine measurement approaches, and set analytical strategy for new challenges to ensure quarterly planning aligns with business strategy
Perform comprehensive analysis of website traffic, the conversion funnel, campaigns, and ROAS to make recommendations for improvement
Support development of executive-level presentations by presenting complex analytical findings in a clear, concise manner
Own data pipelines, including researching, validating, and maintaining data to enhance marketing and sales data story
Drive efficiencies through developing automated reporting/dashboards, maintaining related systems, developing new processes, and implementing testing
Ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions or generate data sets
Maintains a data-driven approach to optimize campaigns and derive insights on strategy and performance
What we’d like to see in our ideal candidate:
5+ years of experience in a Marketing Analytics, Online Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science or relevant data-driven support role
Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Economics) or 5+ years of digital marketing experience
Confidence in extracting, cleaning and manipulating large amounts of raw data from multiple systems into reporting objects for analysis and then translating into actionable recommendations
Ability to synthesize information, derive insights from data, and communicate recommendations in engaging ways
Knowledge of marketing and sales tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Supermetrics and Google Analytics required, as well as data analysis tools including advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Data Studio and other data visualization software
Knowledge and experience in calculating Lifetime Value and all Churn/attrition metrics
Ability to conceptualize business problems and solve them through data analysis
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
Successful self-starter that is resourceful and resilient who thrives in a fast-paced environment where initiative and innovation are required
Not required, but additional skills as a bonus: Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Sheets or Excel, and Hubspot.
