About you:

You’re a passionate marketer and communicator looking to build your career at a quickly-growing company. Your marketing and communications skills are as diverse as your interests, with some experience in social media, event coordination, brand marketing, and/or writing and PR. You’re a quick and eager learner, and see anywhere you don’t have experience as an opportunity to learn and grow. You’ll be the “right hand” to team members working in Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, and PR, assisting on special projects and making sure team members are well-equipped to succeed whether that requires project management or execution. Above all, you’re deadline-driven, organized, and achieve results.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with senior managers on the Marketing and Communications team on ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly, keeping leaders organized and helping with special projects as necessary.
  • Coordinate events and conference sponsorship in partnership with Sales team and other stakeholders, evaluating conferences, liaising with conference organizers, and tracking expenses and assessing ROI.
  • Assist digital team with tracking, reporting on, and optimizing email, search and social media campaigns.
  • Conduct research under the direction of Marketing team leaders including on (but not limited to) personas and pricing, competitors’ marketing tactics, and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Evaluate vendors based on direction from Marketing team leaders.
  • Write and edit content as needed to support the content marketing and PR efforts, including with building media and social media lists.
  • Oversee company swag -- coordinating logistics and tracking expenses.
  • Serve as team budget tracker.

What you need to have:

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, with at least one year at a technology company preferred. Experience working at an agency is a bonus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate; effectively working across multiple levels, roles, and functions in the organization.
  • Top-notch project management skills including attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and comfortable working within systems like Trello and Google Docs.
  • An open mind and willingness to work on diverse projects and initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Empathy for, and understanding of, developers (how they think, work, learn, communicate, and find jobs).
  • Familiarity with developer marketing tactics and techniques as well as cutting-edge content marketing practices.
  • Proficient in marketing automation.
