Marketing Strategist
LeafLink is seeking an experienced Marketing Strategist to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will work directly with our Senior Marketing Manager to drive client acquisition and engagement across marketing channels including but not limited to email, content, platform, events, referrals and product marketing. This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, with dependencies on our Sales, Client Experience and Product teams. You need to be a self-starter who is comfortable with change, enjoys a fast pace, and can juggle many tasks and deadlines.
As a marketing ‘swiss army knife,’ you should be confident at both strategy and execution across many marketing disciplines and excited to try and learn new things while getting your hands dirty. You will collaborate on overall marketing strategy and develop intelligent integrated campaigns for both sides of our marketplace. You’ll bring impeccable organization, creative ideas and proven execution to take our marketing campaigns and output to the next level. As an early member of a growing team, you should thrive on flexibility and taking on new projects outside of your comfort zone.
LeafLink is a SaaS marketplace platform that provides licensed cannabis dispensaries the ability to order from their favorite brands, as well as a suite of software tools for those brands to manage their operations and scale. With 2,300+ dispensaries and 600+ leading brands across 12 states, LeafLink is setting the industry standard for how cannabis brands and retailers work together. Our team, backed by funding from leading VC's, is poised to define the cannabis wholesale market. What You Will Do:
- Own the strategy and day-to-day execution of creative and effective multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Drive customer acquisition and engagement through refinement of existing marketing programs and the conceptualization, testing & implementation of new ones
- Own the LeafLink blog and propose an exciting new data-driven content strategy
- Create, execute and optimize a monthly retailer newsletter to improve retailer engagement
- Own campaign development, setup, QA and reporting for the email channel
- Collaborate with marketing designers to elevate the visuals we are putting forward via email
- Work with our graphic design team to create new marketing collateral, including the company website, sales materials, and swag
- Contribute content and execution to platform announcements, email marketing campaigns, and social media marketing
- Manage existing programs, which will require some administrative and operational work
- Contribute to marketing analytics reporting, leveraging data for insights on how and why our customers hear about, join, and engage on LeafLink

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2-3 years of startup marketing experience
- Have managed cross-functional email processes and direct experience with one or more major ESP platforms
- B2B, SaaS, or E-Commerce experience a strong plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to shift gears quickly and effectively
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, internally and with outside vendors and partners w/ extreme attention to detail
