About the Role
As the Little Spoon Product Marketing Associate Manager, you will own the marketing requirements for all Little Spoon products and become the go-to at the company for the 'why, what, when, how, for who' details for every Little Spoon product.
In this role, you will:

  • Write copy for packaging both on products and on site, optimized for SEO (including merchandising tactics like bundling, seasonal showcasing etc.)
  • Collaborate with lifecycle marketing to determine segmented / personalized messaging that can live on site and across channels for different product skus/bundles.
  • Partner with regulatory to ensure all claims / messaging around products in market are appropriate and backed.
  • Serve as the go-to for all product intel to be leveraged for the creation/ roll out of all supporting marketing material. Focus on creating positioning and messaging that resonates with target consumer for packaging, website, etc.
  • Collaborate with product to gather perspective on categorization, filters and merchandising for each SKU, and marry with marketing insights to ensure that the brand values are core and clear in all messaging and optimized for conversion.
  • Have a deep understanding of the product and knowledge of the market, customers, and competitors to clearly explain the unique value the product brings.
  • Coordinate the creation of / updates for all packaging, from briefing with our agency partner through to file release, site implementation and merchandising tactics through to going live in market.
  • Own the creation of education based customer content that highlights the intentionality of our products and emphasizes the full system / suite of offerings that Little Spoon has created for your child at every stage.
  • Capture overheads of new products through food styling + photography background for use on littlespoon.com.
  • Collaborate with CMO + VP of Brand and Insights Team to understand key messaging / opportunities for product (both current + future innovations).
  • Responsible for working at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Insights, CX, and Digital Product to define product marketing (overall)


In this role, you are:

  • Organized, focused and comfortable working cross functionally.
  • Ready to jump into a fast-paced environment, capable of being a self-starter.
  • Thoughtful about storytelling and meeting the needs of consumers.
  • Naturally able to problem solve, even on tight timelines and with unexpected curveballs.


Ideal Background

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, ideally in a startup environment. Plus, but not required, if you have experience in direct-to-consumer!
  • Is comfortable and well versed in working with cross functional teams (marketing, digital product and physical product) and can "speak" their language
  • Experienced with project management.
  • Strong copywriter and storyteller, with a focus on clear product communication.
