THE ROLE

We are looking for a Sr. Director, Growth Marketing to drive our marketing strategy from an acquisition perspective.. As the leader of this team, you will bring a fresh approach as well as deep experience in running an effective performance marketing engine across online and offline channels including paid social, search, programmatic and offline.  In addition, you will work to ensure that media budgets are allocated appropriately to achieve business goals / KPIs, develop a roadmap and approach to testing and optimizing programs and manage all of our outside media relationships.  

This is a highly cross functional role that includes close collaboration with the CRM team, creative, brand marketing , merchandising, digital product, and the broader organization. We are looking for a strong marketing leader who is constantly looking to grow their media skill set and thrives in a fast-moving, rapidly evolving organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Drive strategy for all direct revenue channels including (but not limited to) paid social, email, search, affiliates, display and audio
  • Manage the acquisition marketing budget, optimizing spend allocation across all partner agencies and media properties to meet performance and financial targets
  • Measure, test and optimize campaign performance, leveraging  first-party and third-party data to identify opportunities within the current business and new opportunities for growth
  • Recruit, manage and develop the Growth Marketing team
  • Lead and oversee the creative brief process to develop high-performing marketing collateral 
  • Maintain knowledge of digital marketing best practices across the retail industry and identify trends and innovations that are relevant to the business
  • Define and measure against growth and performance benchmarks and share out results, learnings and action plans to the broader Marketing organization and company at large
  • Evaluate, implement and manage  marketing technology systems (e.g., automation, attribution, analytics) and  stay ahead of technology updates and trends that can disrupt and/or supercharge the business (e.g. iOS 15) 

WHO YOU ARE

  • An expert marketer with 10+ years of acquisition experience,  preferably at DTC brands
  • An revenue driver that is comfortable managing an eight-figure budget
  • An analytical thinker who finds insights and opportunities in data that are not readily apparent 
  • A master communicator who is able to transform detailed analysis and digital marketing complexity into straightforward summaries for all levels of the organization
  • An experienced manager who is able to attract, grow and develop high-performing teams
  • A strong collaborator who can bring inspiration and solutions to cross-functional internal teams, external agency partners and third parties.
  • Comfortable working in an in-person office environment 3 days a week in New York City
