Senior Manager, Community Moderation
LOCATION: Peloton HQ in New York, NY OR Plano, TX (Dallas area)
Peloton's Membership team is responsible for:
- Ensuring a seamless, on-brand experience throughout the end-to-end Member journey
- Deploying tailored engagement and retention efforts to drive usage and minimize churn
- Providing personalized and elevated support for our Members whenever they need assistance
The Senior Manager, Community Moderation reports to the VP of Community and will ensure that moderation efforts are set up to scale with efficiency and quality across the Peloton platform. The ideal candidate for this role has prior experience providing exceptional moderation support in a B2C environment, has a collaborative mindset and is excited about continuous improvement of systems and processes to support our community of global Members.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Work alongside the Community, Product and Engineering teams to develop requirements and manage our moderation operations across the platform
- Track performance metrics and perform regular QA to better identify, measure and improve opportunities in processes, tools and training
- Build and sustain productive relationships with stakeholders to evolve use of moderation tools
- Identify, investigate, escalate and handle sensitive user generated content for immediate actions
- Assist in developing tools and features to monitor, track performance and report on trends of user generated content
- Learn the sensitive and important nuances of the Peloton brand and how we define a safe and inclusive environment for our Members
- Help shape the playbook/guidelines for how to moderate content on the Peloton platform
- Manage the training and day-to-day oversight of all moderation resources
- Work with Legal, Product and Communications teams to audit and improve our policies around guideline enforcement
- Develop trainings for Community team and disseminate ongoing updates around community and guideline policy changes
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience with user content moderation
- 2+ years of experience collecting, synthesizing, analyzing and visualizing complex sources of data
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with cross functional stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding time management, communication and organization skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- BA/BS degree
