Garner's mission is to transform the healthcare economy, delivering high quality and affordable care for all. By helping employers restructure their healthcare benefit to provide clear incentives and data-driven insights, we direct employees to higher quality and lower cost healthcare providers. The result is that patients get better health outcomes while doctors are rewarded for practicing well, not performing more procedures. We are backed by top-tier venture capital firms, are growing rapidly and looking to expand our team.

We’re looking for a talented and driven Demand Generation Marketing Manager who will play a critical role in helping to build Garner’s B2B marketing program. This person will support social media, digital and email marketing, event coordination, content development, account-based marketing, and marketing automation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the monthly social media editorial calendar and create a consistent cadence of relevant posts
  • Develop and implement nurture email campaigns to help guide prospects down the funnel and accelerate the sales pipeline
  • Event coordination for in-person and virtual events, including sponsoring and speaking engagements at conferences and webinars
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement account-based marketing campaigns targeted at key prospects
  • Provide support to the sales team for ad-hoc requests, including sales presentation slides and custom collateral
  • Help maintain the marketing automation database and building out the marketing automation engine
  • Project management support for marketing initiatives
  • Reporting out on key marketing metrics and KPIs

Ideal candidate has:

  • 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience using HubSpot or a similar marketing automation platform
  • Strong communicator and excellent writer; can provide examples of campaigns or content targeted at B2B decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment
  • A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system

What we look for at Garner:

  • Mission first: Garner’s mission is to transform our healthcare system. Everything else is secondary.
  • Extraordinary or nothing: Our mission is audacious. We only succeed by producing exceptional results.
  • Communicate courageously: We say what needs to be said even when challenging.
  • Supportive community: Our path is difficult, so we spend extra time supporting each other on the journey. It’s also more fun that way.

If you are hired, we may require proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis for exemptions to this requirement, in accordance with applicable law.

An Insider's view of Garner Health

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Building a product from scratch, you can expect your workday to be more hustled than at a larger organization. However, the team here has created a culture that not only respects but also encourages us to set boundaries and ensure that working stays an enjoyable and fulfilling endeavor.

Adam

Data Product Manager

What projects are you most excited about?

The average American spends thousands of dollars a year on healthcare, yet they have no way of understanding the cost or quality of the services rendered. It is exciting to work on a platform that is making physician transparency a reality, empowering patients to take a more active and well-informed role in their healthcare decision-making.

Rohan

What makes someone successful on your team?

Caring. At the end of the day, we're all working on a product that directs real people to care that will affect their quality of life. In order to succeed at delivering a meaningful product, we need to care deeply about the mission and think critically about all the decisions we make in the process.
