About Us:
LeagueApps is the operating system and community for youth and local sports leaders—providing them with the tools they need to manage and grow their organizations, and deliver amazing experiences to their members. A fast-growing, venture-backed company, we count professional leagues, teams, and athletes as our customers and partners, and reach millions of people every day through our best-in-class SaaS platform.

Beyond our sports management software, which powers everything from registration to payments to communications, we are committed to creating conversation around the topics and trends that will shape our industry’s future—injury prevention for youth players, the intersection of sport and technology, and equitable access for all those who wish to play.

About You:

You are a strategic thinker and strong communicator who has experience driving product adoption and bringing new products to market. You have around seven years of relevant product marketing experience (give or take), ideally at a growth-stage startup in the B2B or B2B2C space. You’re able to juggle multiple projects at once, build relationships with stakeholders, and manage complex processes. Most importantly, you’re capable of thinking big picture and coming up with creative solutions to problems, and then diving deep into “execution mode” to get things done.

About The Role:

  • As the first product marketing hire, you’ll work with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to build the product marketing function at LeagueApps from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for creating playbooks and processes and implementing them across departments.
  • Own the go to market strategy for all new products and features. Turn product briefings into messaging and positioning documents, create internal training materials for sales and customer success teams, and work with a copywriter to produce content and campaigns for prospects and customers.
  • Own the ongoing product education process, developing content and campaigns that drive engagement and adoption. Working closely with the CS team, you’ll identify content needs ranging from one pagers to emails to webinars, and work closely with a copywriter to create in-app messages and other product messaging.
  • Become a product expert that helps other departments and stakeholders wrap their heads around features, functionality, and user experience. The LeagueApps platform is complex—you will be expected to understand it inside and out!

Working at LeagueApps:

  • Equity Grants
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Parental leave coverage
  • We'll pay for your sports leagues (and your kids sports leagues)!
  • Cell Phone and Gym Subsidies, Citibike and discounted gym memberships
  • Culture and work environment that emphasizes teamwork, passion, learning, and fun.  Check out our Instagram to see for yourself
  • Social impact opportunities through our FundPlay initiative that includes events, volunteering, and grant-makings

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. LeagueApps is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
